Tal- "True," + Shok- "War" or "struggle" = Tal-Shok -True War or struggle.
Nice of you to use the name I'm already going to use for my m!Qunari as one of your suggestions......

Ari Qun. ![]()
Ashkost - "To seek peace". Ashkaarikost - Ashkaari Kost - "One who seeks peace" is more fitting but I think it's got to many syllables to be a viable name for a Qunari, who usually have a maximum of 3 as far as I can remember. The name is fitting though, being an Inquisitor an all.
Qunoran Vehl - "A mentor, one who is an example to others. A Qunari is declared 'Qunoran Vehl' by Arishok and only after their death." I know you're technically not dead but Qunari ideas on the fade could be very different to the other races. I don't know what their beliefs say about the fade. The name could be relevant because you technically walk out of the fade, and not by coming out of a dream. You could also pretend that the Arishok has declared you Qunoran Vehl.
Beres-taar Asala - "Shield of the soul".
Karaas - "Navigator".
Ataashi: 'dragon' or 'foe'.
Should be enough. ![]()
Already decided on my f!qunari's name awhile ago and its not qunlat, but I might consult this thread for my m!qunari. :3

I have three names planned, none in Qunlat unfortunately...
Male Champion: Taur, after a minotaur character I rp as sometimes. Think gentle giant.
Female Necromancer: Vespera. I got that one from an online quiz "which dragon species are you?" And the traditional, 4 legs 2 wings and a tail European dragon was called a "Vesperaldus."
Female Tempest" Dranae (a rather unoriginal vowel swap from WOW's Draenai).
I will have two qunari: Ebasit Shok ("to be war") and Ash Kadan ("to seek where the heart lies").

Does anyone else wish that Bioware would release naming conventions(or tell me where to find them if they have) for the various races?
IMO these are gender neutral. My qunari will have one of these for a name:
Aritalasit- To be "a" true person (if I'm conjugating correctly)
Arital / Talari- true person
Arilasit- to be "a" person (I assume the second vowel would drop, otherwise "Arialasit")
Esdeath, its so fitting
Steve.
Mine will be "Tal-Ketojan Adaar" Fire Focused Rift Mage.
Tal-Ketojan = True bridge between worlds
Adaar = Fire thrower
I am naming my Inquisitor Basra.
It means 'thing', but in the meaning of 'thing outside of the Qun such that it has no function',
I'm headcanoning that her parents left the Qun together, and decided to call her that as a reminder that her race doesn't define her: she is outside the Qun and proud of it.

Exile.
Esdeath, its so fitting
Karishok for Male Qunari it's what i'm naming mine
There is nothing in Qunlat for Lord, is there?
Thinking of naming my female qunari Herah (Time) Kaaras (Navigator).
