I'm planning on celebrating the incoming release of Dragon Age Inquisition by playing nothing but dragon age games for a solid month of November.

 

I was wondering if anyone is planning on doing the same thing as I am? I feel that the only way for me to truly enjoy Inquisition is if I replay the 2 games prior to playing Inquisition.

I was going to celebrate by rooting myself in place, moving my arms around awkwardly, and having deep meaningful conversations to the soothing background noise of an oddly screechy night-time forest.

I could play some of the older games.  I think I could finish both of them plus the dlc in a two week time.  Wouldn't be the first time.

I'm actually replaying through dragon age 2 to get ready for Inquisition.

I've gotten my DA and DA2 gaming out of my system for the year (played the entire series for the empthneth time back in March ,) so I'm actually going to be playing most of the Kingdom Hearts series for the time being (I'm skipping Chain of Memories.  I don't like video games based on a card system.)  I'm going to be getting ready for the game about a week before the game comes out.  That involves a huge cleaning of my house, and possibly my dogs being kenneled for the week.  Meanwhile, I'm going to be setting up my world state on the Keep once it's out of beta.  I'm in the beta for the Keep at the moment, so that is part of my DA fix.

 

I'm also going to re-read Asunder, WoT and The Masked Empire to refresh my memory on some events.  The games are firmly etched in my mind, but it's been confirmed that Asunder is going to play into the events of DA:I, and not just because of Cole.  I believe that the events of The Masked Empire are supposed to come into play as well, though I don't recall a dev stating that exactly unlike with Asunder.  It would make sense in any case.

I'm dabbling in DA2, experimenting with my rogue archer a bit. But as for dedicating the month to DA, no. I'm waiting for the Keep to refresh my memory and to fix all my playthroughs from both games. Replaying both games would just feel like a drag, especially Origins. The story was great, even though it starts off pretty slow, but I can't stand the gameplay.

I mean... I could, but... Assassins Creed Unity and Persona Q are also out in November. Only Dragon Age would mean skipping those titles, and to that I say no sir, not for me!

Probably.  It's the home-stretch, people! That alone makes me feel pretty good.

I wish I had that much time off.  I do need to finish my last Da2 playthrough.  I will be gone the week of thanksgiving.  So I don't even know if I should even start the game till December

Dang. Should I stop playing DA:O and just buy all the books? Gah!

I am replaying some Zelda right now, but I think I will do one more playthrough of DA2 before launch probably starting early November. I will likely play DA:I for at least 2 weeks after that so I feel confident in saying That I pledge that I will dedicate the month of November to playing DA and only DA.

Nope. I'll be playing Advanced Warfare and The Master Chief Collection in November, prior to Dragon Age.

I've spent the last 2 months replaying DA:O and DA:2. And I'm still doing that. Just started 5th DA2 playthrough. Oh god I can't stop doing this. Somebody help me...
