That actually sounds like a good idea. Origins takes at least a week for me to complete (I can only sit down for so long), and DA2 takes roughly the same. That should 'buy' me enough distraction (while refreshing my memory and possibly exploring any paths/dialogue/decisions I could have glossed over) until that lovely game finally releases (no more delays please!).

Only thing is I have my Wardens and Hawkes (and respective world states/decisions) lined up. This new playthrough will seriously tempt me to override the last slot that should go towards one of my veteran Warden/Hawkes.

Still, should be a fun idea.

Nope, I played through both games more than once quite recently and I am officially burnt out (again).  The game mechanics in DA:I only vaguely resemble those in DA2, and I know the storylines of both games inside and out, so there is really no point in playing them in November...

Nope. Halo comes out on November 11th. So I'm going to play that nonstop until DA:I.  I was planning on playing Akibas Trip on the 4th, but that got pushed back to the 25th of november. :(

I don't really have time since I am now playing Bayonetta 2 which is easily, easily my GOTY. Hopefully i am done with it by the release date of DA:I.

I'm reading the masked empire (think that's what it's called) before I get this game digitally on my Xbox One. Is there any other lore that takes place/prepares this game other than the book?

You can also read Dragon Age: Asunder if you haven't yet. It's actually very good and there's a lot of stuff which sets the pieces for DA:I in it (including the background of one of the companions, Cole). :)

I have new characters started on both DAO and DA2, but I'm a little burned out on both games now. Already read all the books etc. When I finally get ahold of DAI, it will be THE GAME I will play endlessly. Probably until the next Mass Effect comes out. ^_^

I believe the Keep will be a sufficient refresher for me before DA:I.  Also I don't really want the emotions I may have felt playing through those games to influence my playthrough of DA:I.

Well I started in October. I've been playing through Origins so by the time I finish DA2, I'll be ready to play DA:I. I did the same thing with Mass Effect prior to the release of the third one. The story remains fresh. I also read Asunder but haven't gotten to the The Masked Empire or Last Flight but I think I'm covered.

I'm actually replaying through dragon age 2 to get ready for Inquisition.

I did a rerun of DA:O+WH about 6 months ago.

I am doing DA:2 now.
