ya but it was just some to do with potions in the first gameplay demo of crestwood and the W.A

She was Artificer Dagna then, which makes her sound like an enchanter, not a librarian.

 

I picture librarians more like mages.  Maybe the protagonist from Last Flight, Valya?  She's definitely got her research chops.  If not, some minor fan-favourite mage, like Connor if he lives

Ooohhhh.... I like all the suggestions. Brother Genitivi would be really knowledgeable and a good fit.  Dagna's enthusiasm for learning about magic was so adorable though. Finn was also a great companion during the Witch Hunt DLC. I was sad that the time spent with him was too short.

Finn would be majorly epic. I'd be a bit worried about people in the Inquisition being a bunch of returning characters, though.

I'm sure Dagna will be kicking around somewhere. I mean the circles have dissolved, so she has to go somewhere. She doesn't really seem like a Library Assistant, though. If she's an 'Artificer' I can imagine her being part of Inquisition R&D or similar.

Well they confirmed that Dagna will be returning in DA Inquisition.

 

However, her role in the game will be based on what action was taken for her side quest in DAO being if Dagna joined the Circle she will be a scholar and if she stayed with her father she will be a Blacksmith.
