From what I've seen and heard so far, I think each companion will have one of the specializations that our Inquisitor can learn to start off with, and can have their own unique twist/specialization to it that is unlocked through a quest of some sort. Has anyone seen evidence of otherwise, or have their own idea as to how it works... or even knows for certain?

I don't know if they have their own unique twists, I don't think they do.

So when he says unique specialization that's unlocked as you play, is he talking about the specializations you're Inquisitor can learn, and that they have none to start with? Because I thought that they might start with the ones we've seen so far and they unlock unique ones for their characters.

Great, I suspected Sera was Tempest.. then the new video confirmed it (her shield spells). I may end up using more than Varric.
