I don't know if I am the only one here, but currently I have a budget tighter than David Bowie's skin (seriously, he looks like a skeleton). I also love Dragon Age, and have played it avidly, and I'll continue to replay origins until I am physically dead. But here is where my concerns come in: I do not have enough money, as of now, to purchase a next gen console, and I read recently that graphics and npcs on screen will be compromised for last gen consoles to run the game. I'm not complaining about this, I'm just wondering if I should hold out to experience better gameplay on a next gen console when I get one, or if the npc's on screen does not contribute to the immersive world. I feel like a video comparison of gameplay between the different consoles would help me make a decision. Thanks for reading!

The game itself is really not that expensive. If you can not afford a next gen console right now, then get the game for whatever console you do have.
If, in the future, you can afford a new console or PC, then I am sure you can get some coin for your older copy of the game and buy the next gen one.
(And this is why I am so delighted to be getting the game on PC - no compromise.)

Depends how sensitive you are to graphical differences and how important you find graphics. I don't find the differences that bad, at least not enough that I'd hold out on a game.

There will likely be game journalists and youtubers that create these comparison videos after release. I wouldn't expect Bioware to release them.

Ya cause they don't want to make their game look bad, even by comparison with another version of it
