but then some say I'm too old to video gamer? What a bummer, eh?

(I'm out of new games to play and need another episode of mass effect to off set this darkly energetic black hole type stuff... ulp :^)

please update your status every once in a while with your thoughts on what you played! I remember a topic like that from someone a while back and it was a fun read

I don't have much to update, but was thinking about Mass Effect and wondered how the newest rendition was coming along? So I stopped in here to comment on that and maybe get some feed back from Biowares' famous people or some thing...

It'll be like 2 years until the next ME.

In the mean time, you should totally play NBA2K15 :P

Two years? Ew.

Its a 3.5 year separation between DA2's release and DAI.

And it is currently a 2.5 year separation between ME3's release and now. Another 2 years? Really? I'd think 1.5 at most. Sure, 2 years is possible, but that's not the timeframe I'd jump to.

I can sympathize, i'm generally more of a ME fan rather than DA, but then I became a DA fan because of the waiting time between one ME and the other....LOL. I would like too more info on the game...well "at least" to know if it is a sequel, midquel or prequel...like something to talk about.

It's hard I know but luckly Dragon Age will be out soon so we can distract ourselves from the long wait we have in front of us.......I suspect ME:Next will be out in early 2016....this is terribad I agree but consider this will give to BW plenty of time to do teh best ME ever. I like to think this.

There are lots of amazing games out there! The next Mass Effect is being worked on, but the wait for it is not done in the least. I don't know what kinds of games you're into, but there's something for everyone out there right now. Without meaning to be this a plug, Dragon Age: Inquisition is less than a month away, and that game is looking to be huge! Maybe that could keep you busy?

Yep. Looking forward to DAI. Until that time, I've been playing the ME trilogy. Even with all my playthroughs, I'm still finding a few things I've never noticed before in my current trilogy run.

dont get destiny unless you want to be disappointed and stuck grinding the same things over and over with no story to go with it.

DA:I looks very promising but ill wait for reveiws first (as always)

Borderlands TPS is fantastic, weakest in the series but still one of the best games out atm.

A lot of people feel this way. I get the feeling that if the information weren't so hard to come by atm we would have probably push started the hypetrain ourselves a few weeks back.

If you like Dragon Age then you might enjoy The Witcher. It is a nice RPG complete with a few weak romances and some crazy combat. The 3rd one is set to release within the next few months. It is not a BioWare game, though. As for sports games, they are not really for me.

The witcher games were/are damn good games i thought the witcher 2 had some of the strongest story telling going for and choices mattered a whole lot both the witcher and witcher 2 had very different combat styles from each other but they were well worth playing through many times for all the different plot twists.

I don't have any sources but you can bet the farm that ME4 will be released in spring 2016.

they only got majorly stuck into ME4 after the 'citadel' dlc as was hinted from Jos, March'ish 2013? so they've only had 1 year 7 months.

im assuming towards the end of 2012 there was just ideas and sketchy concept art on the table.

I'm gearing for a Q4 2015 or Q1 2016 (around march like ME3)

I think BioWare is close to finishing up on ME:N.  It's just that they're putting so much emphasis on DA:I that they are waiting 'till after Christmas to release any info about it.  Which is smart.

Well, one prediction thinks it'll come in about 1 year. Some guy at Eurogamer used the supposed date when they stated development and the date when a developer said they were 'roughly halfway through' and estimated Oct 2015. I hope they don't take too long or they won't be able to release a whole trilogy before the 9th gen is released! (If they've planned a trilogy...)

If you like SciFi - have you tried Portal and Portal 2? Portal 2 is amazing.

Mordor is fun, if a bit repetitive.  AC Unity comes out in a week or two, and I'll probably get that.  Will most likely wait for DAI - only so much disposable cash.

Its funny how if you really stop and think about it there are NO games out there like Mass Effect.

I would say Too Human on the 360 is the closest thing I can think of to Mass Effect and even though it was widely panned it was my favorite game of last gen up until ME 3.
