Male Human Champion
Female Elf Enchanter
Female Human Rift Mage
Male Elf Templar
Female Human Tempest
Female Qunari Necromancer
Male Qunari Templar
Basic at what I got planned so far
Navilia Trevelyan - human female rogue(archer). Haven't decided on specialization yet. Below is the little bio that I came up with for her. ![]()
Background: The youngest daughter of the Trevelyan family. Her family through her mother has connections to the Kingdom of Nevarra. As her older siblings are in the Templar order, she was raised to join the Chantry as a sister. She long knew that she would be sister, and this gave her purpose and faith. Similar to the others in her family, she found her devotion in the chantry but also she knew that a mother of the chantry can have power, particular for the youngest child.
She learned some combat skills from her older brothers in the templar order who thought that Navilia should know some method to defend herself, especially with the rising mage-templar conflict. As an acolyte sister, she went to the peace-conference on behalf of both her family and the chantry. While not yet a sister. She was expecting that when she returned for her vows to be said and for her to start her career in the Chantry.
Personality: She is a diplomat by her nature. Preferring words to swords or daggers. Though she does recolonize the usage of both. She is a realist optimist. For she recolonizes that to get things done, one must understand politics and the schemes of men and be able to use her silver tongue to help others. Life may suck, but one should do good anyways, one just needs to know the ways to do good. A silver tongue and deals can help the people just as fighting an evil tyrant can.
Naturally a big part of all of this though is that she is rather devoted to the teachings of the Chantry. While she isn't a zealot, she is incredibly devoted to Andraste and the Maker.
Politics: Navilia is pro-chantry. Before the whole incident at the peace summit and becoming the Inquistor, she was going to take her vows and enter the priesthood of the Chantry. She strongly supports the chantry and any thing that supports the chantry she will go for.
Likewise, she is pro-circle she believes that the circle is a good institution for the mages. At the start of the game, she has little idea what the mages mean by “freedom” She doesn't know what mages go through. That said she isn't anti-mage, she grew up with stories of the Mortalitasi from her mother, and though she does not understand the Mortalitasi at all, she has some respect for mages like them.
She will also be slightly biased towards Nevarra and Ostwick. I am not sure how many choices that will deal with either country, but she will lean towards favoring those two countries.
I was going to start with a Qunari Rogue, but with DA2's god-awful weapon restrictions in place..it's daggers only. And they just look so silly with such a large character that I can't get over it.
Female Qunari Warrior first run. Elf something or other second.
Horns
With crap hair tho *cough*
Anyway human mage shall I be ![]()
Albino Elf.
Considering you can be a Qunari mage who isn't chained and has their mouth sewn shut, yeah, you kind of have to be a rebel. They'd have had to rewrite the lore or not allow you to be a Qunari mage otherwise. Race gating a second race from being a mage would have pissed off far more people than simply making all classes you play as a Qunari a rebel.
Oh cripe I read "rebel" as a verb not noun.
As to the pic itself, elf actually looks most BA of the four (on paper).
I'm going to go with female elf mage my first play-through and then a female dwarf rogue!
I feel like I'm missing something, but what is the Dwarven connection to the "Underworld"? I was unaware DA even had such a concept. I know followers of the Chantry believe in an afterlife spent at the side of the Maker, but I don't remember talk of a "hell" or some sort of purgatory even.

The criminal underworld. the dwarf is a member of the Cadash crime family within the dwarven carta.
fun fact, despite not seeing shale in this game, shale is/was a member of house cadash. ![]()

Connections to the criminal underworld... yes that would make sense. Wow... their phrasing in that picture seems so odd to me. Though maybe I've had too much gin.
At this point I don't know who I am going to be first! But I have an idea of their class.
FemDwarf- Rogue archer or 2H warrior
FemHuman- Knight enchanter or S&S warrior
FemElf- Rift mage or Knight enchanter or rogue archer
FemQunari- Rogue archer or 2H warrior
Double post!

Oooooh, so Qunari Inquisitors are automatically "rebels" against the Qun. Good.
Hopefully an Inquisitor of any race can openly defy the Qun and can imprison and execute any hypothetical Qunari that are captured by the Inquisition.
They mentioned earlier what the situation would be depending on what your race/class at the start is.
Some examples if you were wondering and dont want to look it up yourself. Some spoilers of course
Female qunari Knight Enchanter, Vasra Adaar(a combination of the words "Maraas" and "Vashoth" meaning "alone" and "grey one")
Elf archer assassin.
My first will be a Female rogue dwarf. Eventually, everything
Female elf mage, and then a male qunari rogue. ![]()
Female human mage for the 1st run...probably a necromancer as I enjoy summoners.
After that, everything else. ![]()
Human Male Warrior
We can bow the will of ennemies without using a bow and being a rogue but a mage.
