But then he will rebuild IN A CAVE!! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!!
I love that line. Every time, it makes me love Jeff Bridges in that movie. Its really a shame he was disposed of.

Ah. I see it as inevitable. If not as the result of AoU, then definitely before the events of Civil War. Tony needs to feel like the world isn't safe anymore and feel the need to tag and collar everyone who has more powers than a normal human. That type of paranoia and obsessive desire for control has to stem from devastating loss... or the fear of it.
I get it, But i think it's way too much. Well, We'll see when AoU comes out.

The possibilities of the Infinity Gauntlet...
True... but I just can't see that a titan that worships Death as a religious entity would be all that keen to resurrecting random humans he had never met or had any real interest in.
But hey... In Feige We Trust, right?

Indeed. Only six months from yesterday!

Unless he wants to resurrect them and then have them be dead again and repeat the process over and over again for his own lulz while he waits for The Avengers. That would be so messed up... ![]()
Well in fairness Thanos did actually do that once when Death told him that Omnicide doesn't exactly get her going.

Pfffh. Leave it to a woman to turn her nose up at real romance.

Can't condemn him for love.
Deadpool doesn't have that kinda commitment. Considering Deadpool is married now.
To her...

Which really, can you blame him?

How do you take a leak in that outfit?
I'm just saying.
You present a good point

I disliked most of his movies to some extent, But always respected his vision. Now, Even that respect has faded away.

So because he hates, understandably, the idea of a post credits scene you dislike him?
Post credit scenes are basically a "**** you" to the audience especially when the credits are exceptionally long.
Although, I suppose the only good thing is when it keeps all of the people waiting for one in their seats stopping the inevitable rush for the door.

It's not about his opinion about the post-credits scene, It's about how he's implying that only "Real" movies don't give you post-credits scenes. Chris Nolan is arrogant, And it's very obvious if you have watched an interview of him before. If he simply said that it was Marvel formula that he totally respects but doesn't agree with, I wouldn't have even paid attention to it.
P.S: I really like Post-Credits scenes.

Lots of people are arrogant.
What's driving your dislike in this instance?
Although, since I was confused on the "comedy ending coda" phrase I ended up looking up the exact The Guardian article:
http://www.theguardi...ted-blockbuster
Of particular note is the footnote added to the article which reads:
This footnote was added on 5 November 2014. Subsequent to publication, Nolan disputed the quote attributed to him by Snyder. According to Nolan, he had told Snyder, “We shouldn’t be chasing other movies, but stay true to the tone of Man of Steel.”
Sometimes it's better to read the ACTUAL article instead of some trash summary on a different website.

First of all, You should really watch your tone.
Secondly, because The Marvel Cinematic Universe is brilliant, And i wouldn't accept to be bashed by some other director if it was my hard work. "As an aspiring director".
And I'm not going to read that. I've read multiple articles regarding this topic, From Comicbook.com, CNN, ... Etc. And it's all the same thing, He's acting like he's the god of directing or something. I understand wanting to stay true to your artistic integrity, But bashing others' is totally unacceptable.

1: I am so scared...I'm hiding under the covers now...please don't hurt me for not watching my tone!
2: You are heavily biased on that count.
3: So, you're not going to read the original article...that has a footnote...that was added only because the original writer didn't get his facts straight? You do know why footnotes are added right? To say "We screwed up on this so we're going to put this 'See the footnote' to see how we screwed up'".
Of course, given your bias you're going to overlook that anyways.
I suppose I'll be informed that you won't be seeing any of my posts after that. In that case, have a 'great" forum experience. ![]()
