That alien on T.I.H.A.T.I, I've seen an article about him on comicbook.com but didn't want to read as i knew it'd be a spoiler for a future event. But in their report's title, it said that its species was revealed. I'm too damn curious to know it! BUT I MUST RESIST!

Couldn't watch more than half of it. Too much ranting without reasonable explanations. I have addressed these kinds of issues before, But with a friend, not on BSN. I'll do it here soon, I'm just occupied right now.

Merit to his arguments, but I disagree. Given Guardians of the Galaxys it shows obscure characters can work. No one cares about that spousal abuser Ant Man, but no one gave a crap about the Guardians either.

Also I found his tangent about the new Thor and Falcon as Captain America pointless and didn't add anything to the video except to pad out 2-3 minutes. Especially since Marvel Comics isn't even in Hollywood. It's in New York. So it fails the premise of the video.
So lets ding up two sins for said rant.

The superhero genre will reach saturation.

However Marvel Studios has so many ideas, so many characters and stories to tell, that they will knock phase three (the final phase) out of the park.

I also disagreed with him when he said all of the films feel the same.

Each film had a different tone in my opinion.

I'll go into each film.

Spoiler

To me they don't all look feel the same.

The tone and content of these films are vastly different to each other.

They all have different goals and a different vision.

The Age of Ultron will not be like Avengers Assemble and heck will be very different from the other films in the series.

Marvel Studios is what is making the superhero explosion exciting.

Lots of different stories, settings and characters brought into one expanded universe.

So far I have loved all the offerings and am excited for more.

I had so much respect for CinemaSins before watching that...

The general public will definitely burnout on superhero movies, It's funny how it gets brought up like it's a new revelation. People get tired of everything. I just hope at the end of 2020 I'll have an entire library of awesome big budget comic book movies.

Hollywood original superhero movies range from mediocre to terrible. This is the first time I've heard of anyone actually wanting more Unbreakable or Chronicle.

That bit about Thor and Captain America was disturbing.  I'd understand the argument if Marvel had done a retcon with both characters, but they didn't.  Male Thor and Steve Rogers are still around.

The only Marvel movies I don't like are Hulk ones plus Ironman 3. The other movies are at least 7/10 and recommended to watch by me. I was hyped by Wolverine movies, so I'm still unsure if they're good or not!

I do believe that if every studio with superhero properties starts throwing 1-3 such movies out every year sooner or later there will be some kind of fatigue. I'm just not sure if every studio will be affected equally.

I don't think Marvel Studios will have to worry soon, they are well established by now and still have a lot of fresh characters and ideas to adapt.

DC/WB still need to deliver on the promise of their grand connected movie universe, but there should be a powerful enough combination of novelty and familiarity with the characters for success, provided the first 2-3 movie including BvS aren't completely rejected by the general audience (which I can't imagine).

Fox are on their way to making X-Men movies big again, but very little can be said so far about their treatment of the Fantastic Four.

Sony only has Spider-Man, and I can see them struggling a lot before too long. TASM2, while not a flop, wasn't the success it should have been, and the reactions towards their plans of a bigger Spidey movie universe aren't exactly that thrilled.

We'll see. I'll continue watching the movies I'm interested in, and I suspect so will most people.  :)

Which is more difficult?

A story with multiple heroes and one villain?

Or a story with multiple villains and one hero?

Marvel Cinematic Universe and X Men are about the former.

Spiderman seems to be about the latter.

I'll probably get to talk about this "Continuity" issue when i get to have a quieter night. But right now, I had to inform that I'm 2 episodes away from finishing Season 1 of Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. That show is bloody brilliant! Also, God, I've hated Maria Hill!

Well,  I can't say I'm that impressed. It was great and everything, And It was sure good to see Fury back, One of my favorite characters of them all, And the finale was hilarious, But it had the same errors i noticed in the first Captain America, The first Avengers, And the first Guardians of the galaxy. It was just paving the way for the next event, Coulson taking over S.H.I.E.L.D, Creating a new line of thought to fight the influence of H.Y.D.R.A. As the first guardians was dedicated to forge the bond that ties the team together, And as the first avenger was about how S.H.I.E.L.D was a new force on the ground and how devastating can it be with the help of the avengers. But, I'm sure as hell don't want to see that kind of an all happy ending in S2, Guardians 2 or Age of Ultron. But i trust Marvel. After how they pulled off the winter solider with such brilliance, I trust them with AoU and AoS S2.

P.S: Oh, And btw, Coulson is officially an avenger according to Fury. So, He's probably most likely going to appear in AoU. And I'm definitely looking forward to see him as he clearly deserves to be an avenger. I loved Fury in the episode even more.

Well it is a bit silly.

Why do Thor and Captain America have to be revamped in such a way? It will draw controversy certainly, and given the response (Fox or was it Sony?) got when they announced that the fire guy from the Fantastic Four would be black while his sister was white it's probably going to enrage previous fans of said heroes. The questions of course would be, would that happen with a new superhero, and would people embrace that hero?

Also, you get a like for the last comment.

It's just a marketing ploy.

Both DC and Marvel have been doing it for years (Death of Superman, Knightfall, Superior Spider-Man, Avengers Vs. X-Men, etc), it's a fast and easy way to make click-bait headlines, start up discussion, and have some minorly increased sales.

I don't buy into it much. I give Thor and Falcon Cap about a year and a half before everything goes back to normal.

Same with Wolverine and his supposed death.

Is there really the actors/actresses of marvel movies in this series? Or just this single scene?

Fury is present in the finale of S1 and this post-credits scene of Episode 2 of season 1. Maria Hill is also present in a couple of episodes. Lady Sif has also appeared in one episode. Captain America and Tony Stark both were mentioned a couple of times, Romanoff was mentioned countless of times for some reason. But that's about it.

Chris Pratt said he is up for appearing in an episode as Peter Quill. Watch Star-Lord requesting to become an executive member of SHIELD, only for Son of Coul to make him a consultant instead.

YES, Galactic! Thank you for reminding me about Chris Pratt's statement. You know, It'd be really cool to have him on Agents of SHIELD. And maybe take Rocket Raccoon with him. :D Now that, Would be glorious.

Yup. If i recall correctly, Tony was only mentioned once, Cap was mentioned twice. But the series is full of well-established characters, it doesn't need the main characters of the Avengers story arch to visit it just yet. Besides, None of the avengers know that Coulson is still alive. Not even Thor. Coulson told Sif not to tell Thor that he was alive when they met.

Now, The question to those who have watched Agents of SHIELD. Which member of Coluson's team is your favorite? Mine is obviously Simmons.
