I don't really know. I was actually wondering about the exact same thing.

One of my BIGGEST issues with the first Avenger film is that ALL of us real Marvel fans know for a FACT nothing that serious could go down in New York without the Fantastic Four and Spiderman being there to fight as well. I will always think...what could have been.
We all know in the next film (as much as all you Iron Man fanboys love Hulkbuster armour) it would/should be Ben Grimm (aka The Thing) there dukeing it out with the Hulk.
Sigh......STOOOPID LICENSING AGREEMENTS!!!!!

Hulkbuster>The Thing.
Fantastic Four are lame. Even Fox doesn't have faith in them anymore. Hence why the reboot due out this year has no trailers, teasers, posters, or anything.
"That's ungrammatical"

Oh, and I want Galactus and Silver Surfer in the MCU so badly, especially after the disappointment of the second F4 film in the original duology.

It speculated that he was tricked into being off world by Ultron to get him out of the picture, where he winds up in Yrrgsavlad, land of the Wyrd/Fates and is sent to go into the Well of Urd to see the future, where he learns of his own death in Ragnarok (the title of the 2016 Thor film). Armed with the knowledge, he is both haunted for the future but able to lead the team to victory against Ultron.
Meanwhile, Hulk's red eyes in the new trailer could indicate that he is being controlled by Scarlet Witch's power (and, by extension, Ultron). So... if Thor is gone and Hulk is working against the team (not to mention the Ultron army), it could be a very intense fight, without a doubt. It basically leaves Iron Man fighting Hulk and the "normals" of the Avengers (Cap, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Fury) fighting the Ultron army (and possibly Quiksilver). Possible support received from Iron Patriot and Vision, of course.
It's amazing what the Internet can come up with based on 75 seconds of footage, amirite?
