Ahhh, yeah I should have considered the money thing. That makes sense. 

 

 

Well yeah, I suppose a 10 year old that just goes to school and comes home has no need of a phone. But for everyone else, I don't see why not. Even if its just a phone to make calls with. 

 

I first got a phone when I was 10, it was a razr and I loved it. That was 9 years ago, and sure I didn't really need it then, but now that I am in college(and even when I was in high school) a phone is and was definitely a necessity. 

Oh yeah, I have had a cellphone since I was 17, but I still don't really see the point of a smartphone, especially for a child.

 

Hm, living in a dense city it was sort of a necessity for me, mostly so I could keep in contact with my family. We pretty much considered it necessary when I started walking to and from school on my own, as much for my parent's peace of mind as mine.

Entirely understandable, and a necessity for keeping comms.  Like I said, from my perspective and the situation I forsee my daughter in she will likely not be in dire need of a phone until she starts driving, though one never knows where they will end up XD

Yeah, as far as I know those are Twitch rules, though Broodmother and desire demon breasts didn't bring the banhammer on me.  Despite that I think Twitch might take offence at sexually suggestive nudity as opposed to "it's there, now kill it" nudity.  Not my rules, I just have to abide by them to share my love of BW games.

Well, it sounds like I'm about your age and I didn't have a phone until the very end of middle school. I only got a smart phone in high school.

I got a phone when I started driving. I actually chewed my parents out for giving my number to people. I have left college, have a job, getting married, and still don't have an iphone or smart phone. All I need out of a phone is texting and blocking people my mother gives my number to.

 

As far as the lines are concerned. I feel people have an issue tying maturity with sleeze. Probably the most immature games out there is the Grand Theft Auto games, and they have tons of cursing. Maturity I think has nothing to do with cursing, nudity, or blood. It feels like the fascination with such things is actually what is immature. I think of my nephew and niece, and when they see blood, or they hear someone curse, or even when it comes to seeing naked staues/paintings that my mom loves, they are fascinated and want to point it out to everybody.

 

I have no problem with cursing, nudity, or gore. But when it does not serve a point, it is gratuitous, thus immature. It is there to just be there and cause a stir, that IMO is immature. Anyone who has issue with the realism of non bloodspatters has been oddly silent on dissappearing corpses. Exploding bodies and bloodspatter outside some scenes(anora being splattered with Logains blood had a point and made sense, it wasn't gratuitous) is just silly. Nudity makes sense when having sex, although for say Fenris/Anders sex scene where it starts clothed and ends unclothed I don't really see an issue. It also seems strange that everyone talks like sex with clothes is the most ridiculous thing ever, which is puzzling, since not only can it be done, but isn't geralt, the champion of nudity in gaming mostly clothed in his sex at least when it comes to pants? That is worse than underwear. I think ME1 did it best. That or fade to black is perfectly mature. I don't know the context of these lines, but they make me think of God of War which is pretty ludicrous when it comes to nudity. But those are my feelings.

I read them both as being pretty light hearted, not like ACTUAL romance dialogue. Maybe the second one is the end of a list like "I love this about you, and this, and oh yeah..." Which doesn't seem over the top at all. Unless I'm way more vulgar with my fiance than I thought?
