Honestly I don't think the description above is much more "mature" than previous games, if at all. Dragon Age has always been known for copious blood splatter and Isabella's "So what's with that magical fisting thing you do?" and the discussion that followed easily puts the two quoted examples to shame. I guess the naked buttocks are new - although DA:O's underwear wasn't designed to cover anyone's arse - and it depends on what topless means as to whether DA:I is actually more salacious than the previous titles..

She could.  It also sounds like something IB would say.  Nothing says he has to say it to everyone. It may be something he says only to females.  Wouldn't be the first time a character had a gender specific line in a game, even a 'come on'.  Anders only talks of Karl as a friend to a female Hawke but admits they were lovers to a male.

In all seriousness if the utmost respect line comes from a companion it has to be Dorian right? It matches up with the kind of urbane manner he displayed in the latest twitch stream and trailer. And there's no way the talk of ****** and pinned arms isn't all Iron Bull given the way devs have talked about his romance scenes on twitter. (In DA:I you don't ride the bull, the bull rides you.)

 

I assume the "respect" line is a certain love interest's response when you turn them down for sex. That second line seems Iron Bull all the way.

Hope so, but it seems not to be much new to report; both DAO and DA2 had much of the same thing. And like RL, I tend to skip and avoid events that are repellent to me, so much of this could be avoided.

What concerns me is the greater occurrences of profanity, as neither Settings (ie; restrict Gore) or personal avoidance (ie; so called Romances) can guide a new Player in such a mine field. Eventually I will discover which characters will remain benched or removed, but will have to weather this barrage until then.

At least Fox News reports the news; some others seem to skip it entirely.
