But I don't think anything will beat that time I fought Arkham's second form in Devil May Cry 3 HD on Dante Must Die difficulty. I think my friends were actually frightened. I'm usually so calm and placid.

Recently, I finally played Kingdom Hearts 1 for the first time through.  I was doing well, great even, and then I hit the Gold Cup in the Colosseum.  That stupid, giant, powerful boss, the blasted, "God I hate you so much" enemy, the Ice Titan.  I started the fight, and out came the language for the next 20 minutes  My dogs shot me a couple of funny looks for that.

 

Yes I beat him, but it was a challenge.

 

 

Can I ask why? O.o

While it doesn't bother me, those lines are really direct.  Bluntly so even.  I don't think that's entirely a bad thing, but I can certainly understand why some folks are put off by that.

Honestly I think DAI will be the most violent Dragon Age game yet.

 I don't think so. DA:I will receive a 16+ rating here in Germany, while both, DA:O and DA2, are rated 18+ just because of the amount of violence, blood, gore and dark atmosphere. Our USK test centre is easily alarmed when it comes to violence, but doesn't care as half as much about sexual topics. Considering the quotes...  Just my guess of course.

The summaries are often funny, and almost certainly deliberately so.  For example Mass Effect 2 says

 

"clothed alien/human characters may prop a partner on top of a space console, clear away the clutter from a bed-slab, unzip a future-blouse, or just talk it out. Though an alien/human may gyrate her hips while on top (fleeting—one-to-two seconds), actual sex is never depicted—the camera cuts away to space furniture and ceilings."

Eh, for me it's more so that in those two examples it comes across as a little tacky/crude.  But still, I'm hoping that in context it will be less of a problem...heck it may just be some random npc or background dialogue, who knows.

I live in America and I still don't understand why people get so worked up over nudity when there's violence galore in the media.  But then, I was practically raised on innuendos and dirty jokes, so that might've had a hand in why I don't understand it.

Hmm maybe I just have a thick skin dunno (as I see no problem with it) but like you said, context is important so it will probably make sense when seen ingame. My thoughts instantly fell on Iron Bull. Also the delivery of said sentences is a factor aswell.

Well judging by the the lines, if they are indeed taken from the game, it sounds like it was translated by a non native English speaker. And if this is for real then it sounds like Bio finally did something better than horrible underwear sex and face palm moments like shower scenes with underwear on. They have taken a page from the witcher well done Bio if that is the case.....

I'm not put off by nudity or swearing (it has its place) but if these lines are spoken in what is supposed to be a romantic context, I find them crude. If the only compliment my bed partner could come up with at the time is how my t*ts bounce I would not consider that very flattering. I hope the sentences are tied to something similar to the "feather" silliness in DA2 and don't come out of the mouth of Inquisitor or LI's.
