Yeah, we should keep in mind that the characters saying these lines might not even be companions.
I refuse to believe that. Sera must be the one to say the T*ts line.

They are ref as F-bombs; simply utilizing the context.
And I served in the military, and one does not commonly hear a subordinate swear at a superior. Yep; there is a lot of profanity used, but if verbalized in the same way as experienced in ME2 and ME3, there would also be options for discipline.
And Thanks for the pre-judgmental attitude; pls don't scrape your nose on the ceiling while leaving....
F-bomb? That the **** word, I take it? I would have thought that someone who was in the military would scoff at comparing an old Anglo-Saxon word with something as destructive as a bomb. It just seems a bit hypocritical using some weird sort of 'alternative' for it, when everyone who hears the alternative will be thinking the original anyway!
I come from a culture where the occasional bit of swearing doesn't have anyone clutching at their pearls - you just don't do it in front of your granny - and I doubt a Bioware game is ever going to get that relaxed about it.
Never mind. This thread has had me guffawing out loud since page 1!

Maybe the Inquisitor has the options to tell these to Josephine/Cullen

What about Solas? No one thinks it's poor Solas? Just picture it:

But that's not nearly as fun to speculate about. ![]()

Cancelled my preorder just so I could preorder again. If the first line isn't a Direct Inquisitor line it should be.

Hahahah, those lines are almost as cringeworthy as Shepard's lines in the Kaidan date (I love Kaidan but some of the lines make me laugh and cringe every single time).
Also, obviously the t*ts line comes from a male inquisitor and is towards Iron Bull. I mean, have you seen those breasts?
Jokes aside though, I really wouldn't be surprised if those lines come from NPCs. I can really picture overhearing a corrupt orlesian noble saying this to one of their servants, etcetc.

We actually did a research on intercultural communication at our university one semester. We had a large pool of exchange students to draw from, many of these from the US. What we found at the end of our research was that people from the US had a bigger discrepancy than any other county when it came to our results. So we went back and also asked them what state they were from. The number of US participants was about 20 people. Still "many" as Norway is a small country and considering our total number of foreigners. We could see that for the most part (some exceptions), people from the same states has closer proximity in results.
So I'm guessing it holds true that one can almost consider US states as "different countries"? This would then also apply to cultural values like views on sex, nudity and violence I'm guessing?
This makes sense, considering the enormity of the US in terms of landmass. This allows for cultural differences that are harder to achieve inside of smaller countries. For a sense of scale, the state of Texas takes up almost as much landmass as Central Europe.

"characters depicted topless or with exposed buttocks while lying in bed or after sex; some dialogue referencing sex/sexuality (e.g., “'I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect'” and “The way your t*ts bounce when I pin your arms and take you on the side of the bed…”)."
