Meaning characters like Loghain, companions that weren't advertised prior to release. Perhaps companion characters that come with a price to them (what Alistair was to Loghain).

I would love to see one or two "secret" companions in DA:I... unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that's out of the question. Either that, or the devs are actually keeping them a secret, which would be fine by me. Hopefully it will be an additional party member and not a replacement like we've traditionally seen (Loghain, Morinth, etc...).
I would love this. But I think Bioware has already said they are not doing this.
As long as they were optional, sure why not?
Would be awesome.
Only if it's Velanna.

yes im fine no matter who or what it is, more things to discover the better
I would giggle to myself in the night if they made Hawke a secret companion.
Of course! Getting more as a surprise is pretty awesome!
Aku approves
No, if only because the 'secret companion' usually gets spoiled months before or is really, really obvious and thus the 'secret' nature of the companion becomes pointless.
Secret companions are awesome. I don't expect them to do it though.
I really don't see any reason against secret companions honestly. If you don't like them, don't use them. You don't need to know everything about a game before release.
1 word Dagna.
Yes. I also enjoy temporary companions.
It must be Garrus form Mass effect ![]()
