Would you be fine with "Secret Companions" in Dragon Age: Inquisition?

Since I really dislike more than half (Dorian, Sera, Iron Bull, Vivienne and Cole) of the announced companions, I would be really pleased if they added a great "secret companion" like Loghain into the game.

how about just having the original secret companion?
wait as he and Morrigan greet each other awkwardly.

I'd love a couple "Secret" companions like Loghain was in DA:O. However, with the last day 1 DLC and Javik debacle I'm pretty sure that what you see is what you get when it comes to companions.
(I'm roughly paraphrasing an article I read from an interview): Bioware will not create any more companions with Day 1 DLC because additional companions are something that must be considered and developed long before the release. So because we are not selling them as additional content with preorders or day 1 dlc we will not be creating or releasing any new companions.
However, you may be able to get one or two companions in the future as temporary followers during a DLC quest like Tallis was in the Mark of the Assassin DLC in Dragon Age 2.

OMG! Imagine if all the Advisors are like "Time for sitting around is over, It's time to FIGHT!" And then they join the Party and you can play with them as well. ![]()

Would be pretty awesome to have your party trapped somewhere looking like they are about to die and suddenly Josephine comes out of nowhere and destroys everything.

it would be a welcomed addition honestly.. id also like to see them have companions that were legitimately hard to find in game.. that you had to dig either online or explore in game (think yuffy from ffvii). id be giving bioware a big virtual high five if they did that ![]()

I'd be all for it, although I'm not really expecting it. People are a lot more savvy about discovering these things than they used to be (I am not one of those people, but anymore, all one needs is access to the internet).
I used to love when characters would suddenly turn on you or when someone would unexpectedly joined your side (albeit this would happen in pretty hamfisted ways in older RPGs). The potential for a character to be eliminated from the party also adds a sense of urgency to the experience. Hell, I like when I'm still finding new people and places on a fourth playthrough, or even finding out that someone can join the group much earlier than I had previously thought. These kinds of things keep you on your toes.

They should all be secret. I don't understand why we're told about the companions in advance.
To make it all the more challenging to segregate character knowledge from player knowledge in the first playthrough.
