is the final conversation the only thing that has a effect on ME2 or is it everything?

It would be the last question. The previous questions were just a build up to what you would actually do with Conrad.

I dunno....I was pretty nice to the guy until I stuck a gun to his face for his own good.

The object is to gain Paragon/Renegade points. But listen to the news broadcasts when you're at the Citadel. If you chose the renegade option, well, just listen. lol

Conrad was always the last quest I did at the Citadel before heading off to Saren, Ive never heard of this News Broadcasts that you are refering to.  What is it?

I'm really gutted, I forgot about the quest before going to Virmire and still had one more visit to the citadel to do before I could complete the quest, same with the mission with the guy that knew your parents, really annoyed, and I didn't have any saves from before I went to Virmire so I could go back and change it :/

I think its stuff like that that makes Mass effect such a consequence-heavy game.  Looks like you'll have to live with it just like all the other decisions you made. Isnt that what the game is about? :)

You've never played the Witcher, I take it? That's a consequence-heavy game. There aren't any real repercussions in ME when it comes to getting additional quests/items, except for that one exclusive Paragon/Renegade mission. It's unfortunate, really, just imagine how awesome it would be if what you did actually had an impact on which characters you could interact with in the future, and what quests you could gain.

Unless some one here has ME2 early and tried different options there is a fair chance no one knows. I would think that it's only the last option but that is just a guess. Although I do recommend being polite to him until refusing to sign an autograph and on the second meeting apologise and then refuse to let him take a photo at least once. (then do what you like the third time arround)

Sorry about being a little pushy before, its just i did a playthrough with everything, and i mean Everything, done and I just  would have hated having to do it all over again.

Awesome game! The choices you made really altered the game a lot.  Except the very end was always the same.

With Conrad if at any point you tell him to get lost, bad things happen. As far as ME2 only the last convo really matters; Charm, Intimidate or tell him to get lost as far as I know.

Oh I know, it's good, but annoying, because it was my second play-through, and I did both of those missions the first time, lol, but they were the only missions I had left to do in my list; that I had picked up, which was PRETTY well all of the possible ones..... that I'm aware of ;)

Just wish I had the larger HDD so I could have more saves for a single play-through ;)

You should (may) be able to finish the quest after leaving Virmire (the "point of no return" doesn't come until later).

If you've already gone to Ilos, however, I hate to tell you this, but you can't complete the quest.

Oh yes. There was few decisions in the Witcher that could affect so much that i needed to start the game 1hr back and make difrent decision. And 3 difrent endings ofc.
I hope that in ME2 and (maybe?) Dragon Age 2 the decisions u make really are changing the world and ppl around you.
