When I first went to 2175 Aeia, I didn't realise I only had a couple of probes. So after sending both to 'mine', I left to buy some more only to return to find the 'anomaly' is missing. Has this happened to anyone else, if so, did you manage to resolve it?
I've looked on t'interweb and found that a few people have had this happen, but no one seems to know how to resolve this. I'm playing on a downloaded copy of the game on a PS3 if at makes any difference.

Did you try reloading your latest Save? Or an Auto-Save for that matter?

Have you re-entered orbit and tried scanning again? What about landing?

Jacob doesn't have to be loyal to get through the game, anyway.

Has anyone had this issue?

Not that is even desirable to make him survive...

I think something similar happened to me but in a N7 Assignment. I think getting out of orbit of the planet and entering it again will make the option "Land" appear. I'm not sure If I had already launched a probe in the "White dot" point of the planet and Then leaved or never launched a probe in the white dot.
In my case, the "anomaly detected" was always appearing in the codex text that is presented in the left of the screen besides the detailed vision of the planet.
