Is there a way to get heavy armor to use before Battle of Ostagar for human noble warrior?

Unless the quartermaster at Ostagar sells some type of heavy armor, and you have enough money to buy it at that point (unlikely), then probably not.

 

But you should be fine with just medium armor (chainmail, splintmail, etc.) for that battle. You can strip a nice set of Grey Iron Chainmail from Jory before the Joining that will work just fine. The only heavy armor piece I know you can get prior to the battle without purchasing it is the Thane Helmet from the Chasind Cache in the Wilds if you do the Chasind Trail Signs quest.

The quartermaster at ostagar sells a full set of heavy armour in his special goods, though it's pricey and you probably can't afford it before going into the wilds. In general I just wait until the bandit leader at lothering.

I am the wrong person to ask.. I use a bunch of custom armor mods, so use the console to get the ones I want. most of them have no requirements, so my wardens and NPC's are well equipped very early on

While not Heavy armor, the set gained from the Leliana's Song DLC is a great starter item for many. Believe it requires a STR 20+, but that is easily met in most cases.
