its far too late for this in even if it was not name a game that lets choose different walking animations, like said there far more better things they can be doing with there time .like making there not skyrim level bugs in the game in etc.

There are games that let you choose walking animations. Saints Row 2 had at least a dozen. And this isn't even what we're asking, we just want the choice between 2 animations and they're already in the game

I think it's a ploy to have their post noticed. Honestly, whenever I see posts like that, with weird colors or fonts-- I just skip over those. It's kind of obnoxious, isn't it? At least to my eyes.

You probably shouldn't make reductio ad absurdum statements like that. You're extremely bad at it. Wanting to not strut like a model into battle doesn't equal wanting burqas in game, you silly person. Even the thread title is asking for a choice, not to exclude one or the other.
Oh and the majority of the complaints in other threads you've seen floating around about the ball uniform as well causal clothes is that: 1) There isn't a dress option for the ladies, and 2) The colors are terribly bland.

I don't understand why some people come in feedback threads and try to downplay the problem. The current walkstyle is huge problem to me. It makes me hard building character I like and pretty much makes self-insert impossible. In DA2 the female animations actually swayed quite much how I saw my female characters and their personality, they were much more feminine compared to my DAO and ME female characters or Reckoning, Skyrim, Saint Row.. list goes on, characters.
Other problem I have is qunari hair cause it makes it hard to make qunari character who looks great and that you can't customize nor change color of your Skyhold outfit (i'd actually prefer just running (or swaying 
) around with armor).
Only other problem I have with DAI is that battles seem really hard compared to previous games but I think I can manage with casual/easy. So although I guess that is what some people see as "big" and "worth while" problem, I just don't.
Other than these I'm happy with the game so far so appearance issues are only one's I have to give feedback of to BW.
One of the problems with the female animations is that it seems to be used for other npcs too. This was the case for DA2. All human females (besides Aveline) had the same animations as F!Hawke had. It's really not immersive to see every single female human NPC with exaggerated "sexy" animations, including the city guards and templars.
