Unless these shots take the form of Praetorian lasers, Banshee warp balls, Geth Prime doom cannons, Scion cluster-bombs, or Atlas rockets in which case keep running and dodging like a lunatic preferably in the direction of a teammate so the homing changes lock or the love is at least shared.

 

Other tips;

1.) DODGE! There is a good chance the game will say don't care but at least you'll leave your teammates less annoyed about reviving you because you tried, and in some rare cases, actually avoid whatever blood machine was coming for you.

 

2.) When the banshee is coming at you via warp jump, charge her when she's one or two teleports away. This seems suicidal but this can actually confuse the AI making her overshoot and maybe even change targets.

Plus, dodging grants damage reduction and can be the difference between getting shield-gated or not by some enemy attacks when using certain kit setups.

But if everyone does this then the 4 players will spread out to the corners of the map, and there's bound to be a spawn near someone. It'll be a Star Trek Kirk-vs.-The-Computer style paradox that causes everyone's heads to explode.
