So do you think we will see Connor again in DAI all grown up?

It will be great to finally meet him again since they cut out the content for Connor's cameo in DA2 (Among countless other good content cut out of DA2)

I was sad that they cut out the content back in DA2 since we would have gotten to see Connor again if players imported a data where he lived, free from the demon, and went to the Circle. Ah sadly only thing that was finished was the Dialogue involving his cameo quest.

Though from the dialogue seems something happened at the Circle in Ferelden that forced Connor to be on the run.

I liked him, so I hope so.

I'm really hoping that because the choice to let him live or otherwise remains in DA Keep, he will be in the game. Either as a powerful young mage in Thedas, or a trapped child's soul in the Fade.

It would be interesting. Thanks for this clip by the way, I haven't heard of this before.

You'll be surprised at how many good things are cut from DA2 such as the Good Ending High Dragon Quest which would have been accessed by players that complete all Bone Pit quest before Arc 3. This quest would have allowed Hawke to save the miners while still killing the High Dragon rather than what we got which was only the Bad Ending High Dragon Quest which would have only happened if Hawke did not do all Bone Pit quest before Arc 3.

Thanks for this too. I didn't realise that quite so much stuff had been cut. Clearly I need to go hunting for some more of these.

I got plenty more if you like to see them such as the Meredith is confirmed crazy ending which I believe was originally going to be a Neutral Ending where Hawke did not side with Mages and Templars but rather tried to stop both sides from killing each other.

along with the cut content where Merril mentioning the Dalish Warden if players used a DAO data that has a Dalish Warden.

Thanks for these. I've actually seen that Meredith one which I thought was quite funny toward the end with her just laughing maniacally. I've never seen that Merrill one though, I wonder why they cut it out. It seems mostly complete, certainly a few cutscenes there.

They will probably have his fate affect some kind of side-quest or a small minor part of the main story quests.

Hopefully they provide a decent conclusion to his story depending on if he is a Mage or a Abomination

@EdwinLi: Interesting. Cutting out Meredith's was probably for the best, but why get rid of all that Dalish Warden dialogue? It was mostly complete.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Merril was a little bit in love with Mahariel? That cut dialogue certainly supports the idea.

probably not enough time to finish. They had the dialogues done but the animation for those events were not finished due to the rushed production of DA2.

Which is the main reason why a lot of these things were cut out.

Why did they cut these lines from Merril story line, without them Merril looks grief stricken to the point of being a danger to herself and others. If these lines had been added it would have fleshed out her story more.

Since they make sure Eamon has a living mage child no matter what, I assume he or his sister will play some role.

They would have made me seen how friendship could work for her, that is for certain.

I knew it! That part of the game was underdeveloped. They should release another cut of this game! I'd pay for that!

I would like to see Connor return, but I dread what part he'd have in the mage/templar conflict.

I had imagined that if you acquired the Arcane Warrior skill in Origins, you'd teach it to Connor. It opens up a loophole that allows Connor to spend a season with his family as he trains to be a knight. It doesn't have guarantee it, but it would have made great dialogue to try and convince Arl Eamon of the possibility. I'm sure King Alistair would have allowed it too.

That missing dialogue was awesome.  Who played Connor, I wonder?  The same actor?

I think the reason the Connor and Mahariel dialogues were cut was because of the buggy imports.

Eh, I'm a terrible human being who killed Conner so whether or not he comes back doesn't bother me.

I'm a bit confused, do people think all that dialog by Merrill was cut? The only lines that weren't in the game are the last few remarks by her clan mates.

With us returning to Redcliffe, I would bet on something involving Connor being part of the game.  Of all places why return to Redcliffe if we aren't going to see the effects of our choices we made there in Origins.

That's what I believe and made me decide that the dalish warden is my canon warden (with Witch Hunt)

Also, at the end of the dalish warden origin, there's this cutscene when you see Mahariel conforting Merrill and she gave him/her that "don't go please" look :(

Yep, the last dialog is the only cut content about Merrill and Mahariel :)
