I know this might make me sound like a heretic but I hope their is a DLC companion. I usually enjoy the extra flavor the bring to the group dynamic and the quests stuff they effect from new options to actual quests.

I would love a Zaeed and Kasumi style character, provided it would come late enough to obviously only exist in some state of concept at the time of release, and obviously enough would be an addition, not something that was cut from the final game for the sake of DLC.

I do hope there is a dlc companion sometime after launch. I know Bioware stated their reasons for dlc companions at lauch i.e Sebastian and Javik. but it dampened the premise of looking forward to extra companion later mid year.

I don't want a companion DLC, even if I prefered the two companion DLCs. I rather have more story elements for all of our companions/advisors. 

 

Temporary companions on the other hand, I am fine with.
