They look pretty awesome. I'll take one in each flavor, Nefla!
If I had to rank them, I'm go: dwarf, elf, human.

I prefer elves personally, but if we're voting for gay KISA, I'd vote dwarf because we've already had one gay human male romance, one bisexual human male romance, two bisexual elven male romances, and one bisexual qunari male romance, but ZERO dwarf romances of any kind.

Its like they hate dwarves or something.

I disagree. I think they didn't see dwarves as a race that folks would be attracted to, considering that they aren't generally seen as attractive. They are far from the usual "sexy" races like elves and WoW's draenei. Honestly, I think that Scout Harding was a way to test the waters to see whether or not dwarven romance would be popular. I'd dare say she's gone over very well, so it's likely we'll have a dwarven romance soon.
I still hope for a KISA instead of another rogue though. It's nothing against her or her VA, but I loved dave's Legion of the Dead idea from a few pages back. We agree to disagree over the beard. ![]()

Are space goats supposed to be sexy?

Apparently. I saw so many draenei dressed in very skimpy armor and catcalls in Trade chat about it. Since it sounds like you're familiar with WoW, you know how creative those folks get with various terms for a "lady of the evening." I never did that, as I preferred my shaman to be fully clothed. To each their own, but yeah.... ![]()
I don't miss WoW. There has been a lot of comparisons between the draenei and Desire Demons from former/current WoW players. That's what they reminded me of.

I wouldn't necessarily say Scout Harding went over well. She has a very dedicated fan base but that doesn't necessarily mean that most fans approved. I mean, I suppose there isn't a group of people actively decrying her physical attributes but we've already had a similar response/attitude with Sigrun.
I wouldn't get my hopes up is where I am going with this post.

It's not like I'm going to be terribly sad or surprised if they don't have a dwarven romance. They haven't since 1999 and I don't expect one now. Shoot, they seem reluctant to get too deeply back into dwarven lore, much less a romance.
Still, fan reaction has been good, and Sigrun was from DA:A instead of a main game. She really didn't get a ton of screentime, and the series wasn't as popular back then. Harding seems like the perfect character to flesh out for a later game, but we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, I'll continue to politely request my preferred race to romance. I might not get what I want, but I find no harm in asking.
I'm a pessimistic optimist. I always expect the worst and hope for the best. I've found I'm very rarely disappointed that way. ![]()

Yes, well considering some of the romances DA has had over the years, I'm wondering who clamoring for those characters... ![]()
Bioware will do what it wants in the end regardless of requests. At some point, Bioware will end up doing a dwarf romance simply because they claim that they don't like to write the same companion characters all over again. If that's the case gay dwarf KISA would be novel.

And yet, for all that dwarves are "out there", they still chose to give us a Qunari romance this go around, which I would argue is even more...exotic.I disagree. I would love a female Qunari as a KISA. But Dwarves are always my ideal. A Qunari Vashoth taken in by the Chantry, or a Dwarf noble who protects workers in the deep roads or really anything, but those are my ideal.
Also, be nice to have a Dalish warrior who wasn't a strawman or a dour person. Be nice to have a Dalish warrior who champions and protects his people with a sense of humor. What about a Good Chevalier? There are a lot of possibilities, and maybe next time we may have one.

My preference would be qunari > dwarf > elf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> human... human way, way behind the rest and I'd imagine a Dwarf would be easier lore wise than a qunari unless we get something really creative we haven't encountered yet so I'd lean toward a dwarf KISA being the most likely. I'd prefer a female dwarf but I'd be perfectly content with a male dwarf KISA best mate too. ![]()

This would require changing either the lore or the KISA type since chevaliers have to commit murder to be a chevalier in the first place (pretty sure that's what I've read elsewhere here). They also have to be human, and from the Orlesian nobility to qualify so... yeah. Now if you were talking about someone trying to set up an alternative to chevaliers or an as yet unmet order of knights from places we've barely heard about that could be a possibility. A Dalish elf trying to revive the Emerald knights might work for an elf and definitely a dwarf legion of the dead warrior... sigh.
The really annoying thing for me personally is that in terms of a plausible background story for a KISA it works the opposite way to my racial preferences, human > elf > dwarf > qunari.

Quick question and I apologize if its been explained already but the idea of a KISA legion of the dead dwarf or ex legion of the dead would that work? I mean aren't the legion of the dead criminals and joining the legion is how they redeem themselves? I'm not dissing the idea at all I freaking love it (dwarf love
) just wondering if that would still fit in with the KISA type.

In order to be a Chevalier, one has to commit an act of murder. Thus goes against a trait associated with a KISA.

No, there are members of the Legion of the Dead who are not criminals. So there can be a KISA Legion of the Dead member.
