Any ideas for a personal quest of the KISA?

And on further thought, I would kinda prefer that their personal quest also not bring up past lovers or have us run into them.

I DO NOT want another Dorian personal quest.

 

Not gonna happen. Done once, it's out of the way.

 

If we kept Mass Effect separate from Dragon Age, well... we might have the dead lover syndrome if we're thinking more cliches?

Honestly, I'm really loving the idea of the KISA's personal quest having nothing to do with their sexuality at all and being focused on their order/group.  For example, if he were a Grand Tourney champion, having it be around regaining his honor after having lost to the PC.  And, my favorite, would be the dragon hunt that you go on with a Nevarran Dragon Hunter KISA.  Maybe it's his Moby Dick dragon that he's been chasing for a while after having lost a friend/relative to it earlier.  Something like that.

The dragon hunt kinda already happened with the Iron Bull.

Nah, but I just want to avoid another Anders incident, where I end up making out with the guy like 10 minutes after we kill his ex. That really bothered me.

Would anyone object for spending half the game fighting against this "knight" (if he starts out as a villain of sorts) before a turn of events brings them over to your side (knight seeking atonement)?

 

Or has Blackwall got that covered? ...The redemption part, that is.

Yeah, I know, but I just really don't wanna have to deal with it again lol. Granted, it's a story that needs to be told, but I see that same story everywhere else in the media.

Zev's got a lot of baggage about his dead girlfriend too.  But not really from the others.  Merrill, Fenris, Isabela (even though she has a dead husband), Josephine, Dorian, Bull, and Sera all avoid that. 

 

The dragon hunt kinda already happened with the Iron Bull.

 

Well, maybe a little.  It's not exactly what I was talking about.  I was thinking more about a particular dragon that's his 'arch-nemesis' type of thing.  Like through a series of quests, you have to track it down, create a lance, uncover it's weakness, and then defeat it, type of thing.  But, yeah, I can see overlap since Bull does require you kill a dragon if you romance him.

I do, but I don't know if they are too out there like my other ideas to suggest or not.

I actually like this idea.  I don't see it as Blackwall's story at all, really, because while he went through a redemption story, it was all stuff that happened way prior to you getting to know him.  The idea that you bring up would be more of a Loghain type (as in, an antagonist) who eventually aligns with you and I think that has a ton of potential.

No it doesn't since I was meaning ex lovers/old flames and what not, Denarius was his rapist, makes it quite different in my book.

Completely understandable, the timing in that was odd to say the very least would like if something like that were to be avoided again as well.

Ah I tend to really mess up Zev's romance in most playthroughs so I forgot all about the 'I killed my girlfreind' story from him.

Lady Artifice made me more open to the idea of my Rivaini concept being a seer (though I still prefer archer )
