I have not given up on the idea of a Nevarran Dragon Hunter for our KISA. Imagine a distant cousin of Cassandra's, who has a few familial similarities to her, but is a fearless dragon hunter (and gay)? Swoon. I'd even settle for him having her dark coloring because, in my mind, I see Pedro Pascal for this character.

They weren't talking Oberyn the character, mainly that the actor is hot. They could see a KISA role in mind with someone that looks like him, like a distant cousin of Cassandra. An idea I wholeheartedly support.

As a side note...those few episodes of him and Indra together were...um...welcome by me. I've had a crush on Indra since her days on the show Rome back in 2005. As far as Pedro goes, well, I was bummed for more than one reason that Oberyn died. 
But yeah, I would never consider him a KISA.
What's the point of this line of reasoning, I wonder? Is it to refute that KISAs exist at all? Or is it just to point out that not everyone will be happy with the KISA should we get him/her because KISAs come in various 'flavors'?
I would say that a KISA is fundamentally incompatible with our modern culture. You can shoehorn one in by keeping the culture depicted in game significantly different from our own, but that has never been Bioware's way. So I think a KISA would be very out of place in a Bioware game like DA:I.

Maybe by your definition - but what people are mostly asking for in this thread is a gay version of Alistair/Aveline/Cassandra/Cullen/Blackwall (and maybe Sebastian.) Those characters fit into the universe just fine, and a gay character who was like them - only, y'know, gay - would fit equally well.
If you're contending that Alistair/Aveline/Cassandra/Cullen/Blackwall isn't a KISA, well, we've had that argument about a dozen times.

Yeah, agreed. I was just saying that Pedro Pascal would be a great model to base a Pentaghast Nevarran Dragon Hunter gay KISA after, that's all. He kind of looks like Cassandra enough to pull it off and he's hot. That's really the depth of that comment. Super shallow.

Spirit of Purpose enters the world just like Cole, and assumes a baseline form. As the game progresses and your relationship with it as well, the form changes based on dialogue choices/interactions you've had with various other races and cultures throughout the game.
I kinda want a person from the Anderfells who isn't a Grey Warden. Just to see their perspective on things.

You know, I'm ok with the preset armor looks for companions as it gives them some personality. What I'm not ok with is my PC having 3 looks that are all interchangeable and a lack of options for one whole race in particular *sighs ruefully while glaring and InquisAdaar* I mean I know the races were added in at the last minute or so, but they can't claim body size issues when you have that swole dude walking around the Hinterlands camps. He's even wider than the Inquisitor of any race and almost the same height.

So when they're not dressed like that, it's frustration that they're not dressed how I want. But when it is, pure, unadulterated envy. Especially on my qunari.

I have thrown around before perhaps having a member of the political scene in the Anderfels who is adamantly against Warden involvement within the government.
