I have thrown around before perhaps having a member of the political scene in the Anderfels who is adamantly against Warden involvement within the government.
Hehe, 'adamant'-ly.

Far too late for that, my dear.

Ok, what kind of spec do you think that you'd like to see on a KISA?

We've talked about knightly orders but Dave's post in another thread got me thinking - would being an (honourable) mercenary disqualify one from being a KISA?

Something that boosts critical rate. The specialization makes the KISA hit harder and if upgraded provides a smaller team bonus to any nearby party members. Besides all the jokes that can be made with “CRITCAL HIT!” I've always believed a strong defense is an unstoppable offense. Hit them hard and fast enough, and there won't be anything left to harm the ones you protect. Tanking damage is far too passive for my KISA.
That, and shields are so last Age...
With that being said, here is my idea:
Tevinter Dragoon
Warrior Spec; unlocked by becoming a member of the Imperial Dragoon Corps. Because learning it from a book is just silly.
Abilities:
Blitz
Your sheer speed coupled with your heavy armor creates a devastating force to be reckoned with. Inflict an additional 25% total damage for 10 seconds. This bonus applies to both melee and ranged attacks. Increases to 50%, then 75% which each point invested in this ability.
Shock Trooper
Eliminate high priority targets first. With each blow inflicted while Blitz is active, increase critical rate by 2%. This effect ends with Blitz.
Battlefield Tactician
Allies within 10 m gain a bonus of 10% your critical rate added to theirs. This increases to 20%, then 30% with each point invested in this ability.
Well-Maintained
Because what matters most when fighting enormous, scaly, multi-ton lizards that breathe fire is mobility. Especially if you're inside a metal suit. Speed penalties for heavy armor decrease by 25%.
Supremacy
Upon reducing an opponent's HP down to 50% or lower, the Dragoon can knock his opponent back with this ability with every blow, further keeping them destablised and off guard. Enemies immune to knockback are unaffected.
This spec encourages a "high-risk, high-reward" style of play for either the KISA or the PC. Warriors already have a large pool of hit points, but not specializing in say, Champion, makes the amount of damage you take pile up.
