Same thing all the undercut, mega beards are thinking now..."don'tya wish ya [gendered partner] was hot like me?"
Um.......I'll be right back. I'm going to just go trim my beard a bit...... ![]()

As someone who was rocking that mid-90's haircut at the time, I cannot stress how much that style needed to die a horrible death. What were we thinking? Ugh.
I've also read teen-lit written in the 90s, and the amount of times I've come across variations of the phrase "his hair was tousled in a way that framed his face"... yep. Curtains.
Mine would have smited that abomination into oblivion.

I think the reason why we haven't really been talking about who we personally see as a KISA is because, inevitably, someone will come in and argue that our examples clearly can't be KISA's because of x, y, & z. It just ends up being counterproductive and I think the discussion ends up being better when discussing hypotheticals.
That being said, I do have a few people in mind when I talk about it, so I don't mind sharing. If we are referencing GoT, I'm thinking more of a Brienne of Tarth type (although I personally want a guy KISA). Maybe even a Loras Tyrell type (although he's a little bland). That's the kind of m/m LI that I'd like to see, personally.
I see...
1. Avvar
2. Second Avvar
Yes! Jaws of Hakkon definitely convince me of this. It's like I get pandered by Bioware. Needless to say I spend a lot of time 'exploring' Stone-Bear Hold and its male occupants.
What? That ponytail was atrocious.
His ponytail is the most frustrating thing about him. It's so inappropriately small and holds so little hair. Is it a fashion statement? Or is it a symbol of non-conformity?? ![]()

Probably just to keep his hair out of his face.
More long-haired guys for me, then.
Well, not long long, but lengthier than what a usual cut would provide. Shaggy, in other words. Like I said, it all really depends on the design. Off-topic here now...
I do not mind if a M/M LI has long hair so long as they have facial hair to go along with it. I don't like clean-shaven + long hair.
Wouldn't it be the opposite way around though, they'd start off as a Gladiator then become a Fog Warrior?
I'd prefer not. I think we already had a representation of a slave born into slavery with Fenris. If we have a Tevinter Gladiator, I'd rather they were someone who had lived a life outside of the structure of the Imperium beforehand. One of Tevinter's enemies put into the arena after being captured, maybe?
I don't have my heart set on my fantasy. The Gladiator could even be a Vashoth or something. I'd just rather they have a background outside of the arena and slavery, preferably with some kind of an education...outside of slaughtering enemies in the amphitheater.

Give Cailan a beard, and I would be so here for that!

It figures I'm the exact opposite. I like long hair and clean shaven. I'm willing to compromise though. ![]()
I'd go (in order):It figures I'm the exact opposite. I like long hair and clean shaven. I'm willing to compromise though.
This would be kind off topic, but what would you (and anyone else here) consider as "long" though? Because what I consider short would probably be long for someone else...
Those guys in my display picture as of typing this reply? I consider their hair "short", but you might disagree.
In terms of looks... it changes. Ask me next week, and I'll be saying something else. But right now, for a female knight, I'm thinking long black hair tied back in a tight braid, dusky skin, and a tall, muscular build. For men, I've been sketching up a skeezy redhead with boyish, freckled good looks.

I'd say that the shaggy short hair that you are talking about is still short. For me, I consider 'long' to be hair that can be tied back or up. So, basically, anything that's chin length or longer.
For a lady KISA, I think I'd want a more glamorous character. Cassandra and Aveline have both been very practical and I want something a little different from a female warrior.
Hmmmm, perhaps something more akin to Cassandra during Dawn of the Seeker?
This length of hair would be good for me. And if he happens to look like Thor too, then I'm so here for that!

I was thinking a little more glam, but I certainly wouldn't say no. But then again, I wouldn't say no to any Cassandra.
Are we talkin' Isabela level of glam?I was thinking a little more glam, but I certainly wouldn't say no. But then again, I wouldn't say no to any Cassandra.
Are we talkin' Isabela level of glam?
Or these level of glam?
Are we talkin' Isabela level of glam?
It's hard to say.
Isabela's so different from the image of a KISA so it's difficult to translate her look to what I'd want.
Or these level of glam?
Spoiler
Maybe not number 3, but the others perhaps.
If we say Aveline is a 1 on the glamour scale, and Vivienne is an 11, I would say I would want my KISA LI to be in the 5-7 range, ideally.
Ah, good to see this thread's still trucking along.
In regards to a female KISA with glamour, how about the woman the the strongest glamour of them all. Leona form League of Legends.

Or is that glare? I get the words confused sometimes.
