I think about Sebastian Vael now and then. I'm not a big fan, but if we could have someone else from the Vael family, a warrior, that would be lovely.

A royal family named Vael with Starkhaven accents has so much potential.

Edit: "Prince Charming" sent me off on that tangent.

On looks, I'm right there with you, sister. But personality....not so much.

I only support this if the new Vael has nothing in common with Sebastian outside of his surname, accent, gingerish hair, and (literal) shining armor.  Sebastian's personality is a deal-breaker to me.  He tops my "least favorite companion of all time" list.

I am a big fan of the idea of scottish sounding redhaired royalty and shiny armor, especially when it comes with a cool last name.

I especially could get behind it if he looked bigger and beefier (since he'd be a warrior, after all).  I would LOVE a m/m option that looks like him.

So do I have to stay out of the thread now cause I find this just kind of meh? Though slap a hot accent on it and I may utterly change my stance but as far as looks go just meh.

He shares the same model as every other human male in the game. I fail to see what is so amazing about his body.

I'd say Dorian fits the category, perhaps not a warrior/knight in shining armor specifically, but he's both a noble and noble in spirit. He is a Patriot who cares deeply for his beloved Tevinter. Yes, he 'rebels against the establishment' of Tevinter (and his fashion sense is deplorable), but he rebels against the bad parts of Tevinter and seeks to elevate the good.

EDIT: No seriously! Read The Trial and Death of Socrates, and read everything that Socrates says in Dorian's voice! It's hilarious!

Silly you, I don't read threads! I just post what I like and keep it real! I'm the fly that spurs the horse of Athens into action, as it were!

I'm just saying he's not thin. Obviously whether someone is thin is a YMMV but by my tastes the default male (human) build is relatively well built. But then I think the IB is just ridiculously overmuscled.

i actually prefer the InquisAdaar's build in terms of...appreciation. 

 

I still think that even if sliders are a no go, then preset body types a la DCUO should be feasable.

Although I always found the Qunquisitor's Skyhold outfit to make him look a bit pudgy in the mid-section. 

 

I'd like it if DA:I could do preset body types. Certainly the game in general could use more variation in builds, and i'd like to play a quanri who isn't - by my eyes - too buff.
