I saw this in the Telltale's GoT thread and thought it was amusing lol
Spoiler
...I think there's someone I know who'll really get a kick out of this.
And again, I managed to miss all the action in this thread when it was hot.

How...How much hair does a chest need to have before it counts as having chest hair?
Enough that you can't count individual hairs? That's when it goes from being chest hairs, to chest hair right?
I now fully ship Roderick with Arthur. Sorry Elaena, but the marriage is off.
Seriously, I know its played as a joke but it makes me happy its there anyway. That game needs a little 'gay' in my opinion. Preferably with Asher involved. of course, none of them really fit the KISA trope anyway.
With regard to build, I want to see a beefier guy for an m\m romance. Think the difference between Kaidan (who's a well built muscular man) and Vega (who's beefy and thick). I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but we've had thin guys (Ferris and Zevran) and we've had 'average' guys (Anders and Dorian), but we've only had one thicker guy (Bull). I'd like to see another guy who's got a bigger character model personally.
This is my favorite build for a guy. Please forgive the lack of chest hair, but I've always loved this physique.
Thick but not overly beefy build would be nice for either gender of KISA, though I'm not really sure how to describe what I mean in good detail.
just thought I'd share with the class

Hello new background image. ![]()
But then I think the IB is just ridiculously overmuscled.
HOWDAREYOU
You think Dorian is on the lithe and thin side?
For my tastes, pretty much. It's pretty much the same thing we got from Anders, Zev, and Fenris, who were all lithe and on the thin side. I need a bigger guy.

I dare. I so dare.

I fully support your getting your big beefy guy. I'm just saying, I'm selfish. I want my type too.

I thought daveliam's redhead had that covered, but that the hairs were just lighter colored.
Well, I guess I still lack the proper appreciation for true chest hair. Lithe musculature and smooth(er) skin for me.
Like so:
Here's how I'd put it...
Here's how I'd put it...
- Lady Avvar Gladiatrix: Athletic, muscular physique. Statuesque.
- Antagonistic/Penitent Knight: Tall (like 6'6"?), lean, broad-shouldered, athletic but not overly bulky.
- Rock-Knocker: Stout, broad-shouldered, strengthened core. The chest-hair is real (if male).
- Tal-Vashoth: See Arishok.
Yeah fair enough, here's some possible additions for you if you want to play around with a few more.

- Lady Qunari blacksmith: Tall, cool horns and actual hair, broad-shouldered, athletic, Statuesque (I really love this word).
- Rivaini admiral: Lean, lithe but with some muscle (looks reasonable holding either sword/shield or two handed weapon), elegant.
- Penteghast/Nevarran Dragon hunter: Broad-shouldered, athletic, bearded and hairy if male.
I was trying to remember who else was there, but could only think of those four, so thanks. And I agree with your picks.
Now that I think about it, I forgotten the Knight-In-Training. I remember having written him to be fairly young, like in his early to mid-twenties. Lean, lithe, and wiry, perhaps? Arthur Glenmore comes to mind now, thanks to areskeith for sharing that video clip.

I was trying to remember what else we had as well. I remember the knight in training now too and there might have been an Antivan duelist wanting less crows and more order for Antiva... not sure though and that could be similar to the Rivaini admiral in build as well. Age isn't really something I was thinking about either but I would think most of the rest would have to be... what mid-late twenties at the earliest?
Ah yes there was an elf... either an ancient elven knight or someone trying to revive their idea of the emerald knights maybe? Either way I see them really wanting at least a little muscle on their lithe frames rather than the twigs elves usually get and for the sake of being really unexpected I'd like a thicker built elf. ![]()

I don't really know, I'm just speculating on words.

I'll take these for $500, Alex!

I think the Rivaini admiral concept might originally have been a bi woman from Ares or Steelcan...? it's way too many pages to look back through but that's what I was originally thinking of when I wrote that. Of course now you mention it that could work just as well for a man too and either way be a really interesting character.
I'll happily add a Lady Rivaini admiral to Lady Qunari Blacksmith, Lady Avvar Gladiatrix and maybe a lady dragon hunter, elven 'knight' or duelist for me.
Oh... was there mention of a fog warrior somewhere in the discussion or am I thinking of a different thread? I'm not sure what they even are race wise but that could be interesting as well.
I know we don't know much about Fog Warriors (I think they are humans, but I'm not sure) yet, but from what we know, they don't sound very KISA like. It sounds like they use stealth and guerrilla tactics. I guess that's not completely a deal breaker for a KISA, but I'm just not seeing a natural fit there.

Rivaini Admiral is Ares' most particular wish. As I recall, Steelcan wants a blonde warrior.
I have brought up Fog Warriors in multiple threads, including this one. I will use almost any excuse to bring up Fog Warriors.
I also tend to picture them as a combination of races, more of an eclectic society, personally. But like daveliam said, there isn't a lot definitely known about them, and they aren't really an iconic fit for a KISA.
As far as M/M options go, I figure why couldn't one root for two warrior LIs in the next game, one a more traditional knight and one slightly less so? Straight female PCs had two male warriors in this one, after all. For F/F options, I'm personally hoping for one warrior and one darker character, either mage or rogue. I'm kind of thinking of a slightly Morrigan like character.
Can you imagine if they introduced Yavana as still alive and made her an F/F option?

my wishes are also fairly inconsistent with the thread goal ![]()
