I'm glad you understand where I am coming from :) Though I wouldn't blame other people for taking me the wrong way..

I think maybe a lot of it is people having a stab at the "representation" matter. This particular thread -- let's just call it, the "original" -- has been around for a very long time before my threads and the others popped up. I always saw it as a creative outlet, for people to express ideas on what sort of romance option they want, and not necessarily a matter of equal representation or whatever it is that people get their knickers in a twist about these days, on both sides of the fence.

The issue is, there is far too much generalizing. Accusations such as being branded a "SJW" just because you're gay or stick up for transgenderism. I don't appreciate these accusations myself. I am a lesbian, and stick up for transgenderism, due to very personal, and admittedly, selfish reasons. My view is this: I don't give a toss about anybody's race, sexuality, gender, blah blah blah. What counts at the end of the day is an individual's actions, which should be measured based on one's actions in life. Your race, sex, sexuality doesn't mean squat and doesn't make you who you are as a person, it's just what skin you were born in, and what type of person you like to boink.

I admit, I do get sick of repetitive threads and arguments that go in circles, which almost always boils down to political/social issues. My parody threads were written as a result of visiting the ME:A forums far too much. So instead of getting drawn into the chaos, I just made light of the situation.

I actually really like you guys. I don't know you, nor do I talk to you on a regular basis, but I can tell, at least from here, that people like sandalisthemaker, Dave, HuldraDancer and Lady Artifice are lovely and respectful people, amongst a crowd of, put bluntly -- morons. I would never set out to offend anybody here.

Aww.

I've never had a problem with any of your threads. I know I'm a lot more serious than you are, but I've always enjoyed having you around in any thread.

p.s. So glad you're back. I was a little worried.  :P

Thank you, and right back at you. :) You're always, what I would call a "voice of reason". :P

Pfft.

If you're talking about me: I called it a cheap jab. It is a cheap jab. Its a parody. And its full of people using that parody as a chance to mock people who're asking for things they don't want. I know you like that thread but Im telling you that the thing isn't benign. its derivative, full of subtle hostility, and it has about as much sophistication as a playground bully. The demon goddess did it better.

That was at you. It felt like you targeted me, so I reacted in kind. Full of subtle hostility? Check my posts, was I? Was Midnight? There were others who didn't take it to a 'equality' level debate. Yet you came in to a different thread altogether and lashed all your hostility in my direction.

I didn't appreciate it, and I don't think you would care either way.

I targeted no hostility at you and Im not calling you hostile. I was talking about the thread in general and a few others in specific. None of it was ever about you.

Lets stop derailing their thread with our ****, yea? I was trying to talk with them about how they felt not turn it into a stage for us to give each other grief.

Acknowledged,

On topic the design for the Nevarran is rather dashing.

The Fog Warrior has darker skin, icy blue eyes and a scar over one eyebrow. You could nick yourself on his cheekbones.

I've mentioned that he's bisexual, right? It's very important that he's bisexual...Or Pansexual or whatever sexual, just as long as he's available to both genders.

It would be nice if I knew more about who the Fog Warriors are- either I've forgotten some details or there really isn't much. I could draw a couple of my ideas, but I'm a little tied at the moment. And thanks to Toasted Llama, perhaps I should try my hand at full-bodied armour rather than busts... we'll see how well I manage my time...

But I found pictures of this guy and he's sort of given me an idea...

Spoiler

Because dreads.

I don't think there is much info on fog warriors yet, Fenris and IB both mention them but they don't describe them in terms of race(s), ethnicity or religion, just that they are fierce warriors, will take in people with whom they share a common enemy (Fenris) and have a 'live for the moment' mentality because being constantly at war means they have a high chance of dying.

Also I really like Dave's description of the Rivaini and Qunari inquisitors... would have liked it more than once if possible. ;)

My theory on the Fog Warriors is that they're made up of multiple races, mostly humans and elves, but also maybe Vashoth. They're freedom fighters, so I think the bond there has more to do with the cause than the species.

That said, Im hoping for human in terms of a Fog Warrior companion.

Yeah my theory is multiple races as well so I'd prefer a non-human as there are already so many places a human KISA could come from... not that it's a deal breaker or anything.   :P

Whatever race or specialization the female gay Kisa would be, dark skinned + light green eyes and I'll melt into a puddle regardless.

.... Guess which drawing gets green eyes now xD

Thinking more about a lady KISA I would like to really see some one like Page. For those unfamiliar with her since Fable 3 isn't a very liked game she's the leader of a group of rebels that are trying to restore order in the city and make the lives easier on the people in it, i.e. end child slave labor things like that.  She is a character that very deeply cares about the city she lives in and the people that are living in it and they are her main concern. I would love to see something like that someone who care's that deeply for the people they choose to protect.

Apologies if I ended up sounding confusing explaining things is not my strong suit.

Also I think the character is super pretty and has a lovely voice so that is slightly affecting my words.

Yeah I didn't check out Fable 3, you're making a pretty good argument for it though ;).

I like the sound of the character you're describing and that definitely shares characteristics I'm hoping to see in a KISA, someone who is genuinely invested in the people they serve, the community that they live in and has a clear idea of what they see as right and wrong and how to deal with encounters with good and bad people and situations.

I think you explained it pretty well though I understand having trouble explaining things... sometimes I'm so good at 'explaining' I confuse myself too  :P

I"m one of the few that likes that game for some reason, probably because Fable was my first RPG so I still feel a weird loyalty to the franchise for the most part  But Page and Ben are so worth any annoying thing in that game imo

Page is awesome you don't spend a lot of time with her but I think they show very well how much she cares for the people and the city she lives in especially when you're doing judgments. Granted she's got a short temper but that caring nature of hers for the people of her city is something I would love to see in a KISA, heck might make a really interesting way to introduce the KISA in question as well. But yes that's pretty much what I would like, really caring for the people and has a fair and calm mind about it and pretty much always thinks the people they serve come first.

I"m gonna stop while I'm ahead before I go on a major gush fest here

Well, I chose my new name in homage to the freaking awesome Julian Keller, aka Hellion from X-men, who is also my avatar. He's hot as hell to boot!

No clue. He had a crush on a girl, Laura Kinney, once. But it's certainly possible the he could be bisexual lol. Either way he's a smoking hot telekinetic god.

There's just something so inherently sexy about telekinetic powers.

So, I've always wondered, is Rex a reference to Namor at all, or is it more to do with your royal bearing?
