Yeah what Lady said, she joined Black Widow as my top two favourites in the Marvel cinematic universe (I still like Rogue from the x-men universe and I'm looking forward to the Rogue cut version of days of future past) but Scarlet Witch is really well done in Avengers 2. And her look including the costuming at the end is fantastic! I was really happy with how the character was portrayed which is nice since I was nervous when I first heard she was being included (before I saw Cap and the Winter soldier I knew she was a planned addition) in the universe. 

 

Scarlet Witch was definitely my first thought for sexy telekinetics

Started a new gay dwarf KISA playthrough of DA: I.  Please give us a dwarf KISA!

Kaspar Cadash, Carta smuggler.  In his 'former life', he was a smuggler who procured surface goods and sold them in Orzammar.  The casteless brand allowed him to maneuver the seedier parts of the Diamond Quarter without attracting too much attention.  He fully embraces the role of Inquisitor and sees it as a way to make right in the world, given his past actions.  He's smart, a charmer, but ultimately, a goody-goody KISA type.  Look out Dorian!  Here comes Kaspar.

See, I had this idea of a dwarven warrior LI - he'd be a surface dwarf and resentful about it. His way of thinking would be that his family was exiled a long time ago, why are they being punished for the crimes of a man whose bones were dust long ago? Why are they forever lost to the Stone because of an ancestor's sins? I figure he'd be a good way to see more of dwarven surfacer society outside of the Carta and the Merchant's Guild, and Varric's attitude of 'not for me' towards all things dwarven. Plus the whole 'wants to redeem his family's honor' thing sounds right up the alley of a KISA.

Really off topic post here but since I mentioned it before I thought I'd say something about it again. The character that I was writing before the KISA I was so proud of, well I had ended up making her bisexual like a weird majority of characters I write and in a weird way I feel like I sort of made her un KISAy by doing that as maybe silly as that sounds^^; Yeah I know dumb and not the place to mention it but I thought I would since I did bring her up quite a bit on here way way back.

 

And on another off topic post I do think I would have a side character that fits the KISA trope aside from one thing about him, the partner that I work with for the things I use him in thought I was maybe making him too boring since he is such a goodie goodie and protector that it's been strongly recommended to me to give him a nasty little side job or secret to balance it out and smuggling of illegal substances has been suggested frequently for him. Not sure if I want to do it but on the other hand I'm super worried about making him too dull by making him such a good guy.

 

Anywho that was my off topic rambling sorry to take up space^^;

true, as you well know Lancer is pretty great.

 

I also like Archer and Berserker (despite limited screentime) but they don't remotely qualify as KISA's (well Archer is a tad complicated on that issue)

....So.... hmmn... dwarf KISA from Kal Sharok or Orzammer?  I'd love to have a KISA like Dave's Kaspar in a game as my best friend/brother-in-arms type and I'd still love to see that lady qunari KISA as a match for my mostly honourable mage.

^I think that a Kal Sharok dwarf would be really interesting. They have that air of mystery about them, and I think that the sense of bitterness and betrayal that they feel toward Orzammar could be a cool backstory. The KISA tries (struggles?) to get past this sense of resentment and yet still has-- or develops- KISA qualities despite it all. 

 

Plus their possibly tainted nature could add some drama to their story/romance.

Hey, I already suggested a surface dwarf option. I mean since having a dwarven companion would result in them getting deemed a surfacer anyway, why not get a better look at their society? Varric was the kind of guy who looked at things dwarven and said 'not for me.' I'd see a surface dwarf companion in future games being someone who embraces dwarven culture, though he argues about the treatment of surface dwarves.

 

That said, a Kal Sharok dwarf would be interesting. We know almost nothing of them right now, and they could easily be an entirely different society than Orzrammar, due to their years of isolation from each other.

I suspect that Harding is going to show up as a companion in the next game (and a bisexual romance option - no race gates).  If she does, she'd be a surface dwarf.  It seems like she identifies more with Ferelden (the Hinterlands, specifically) than she does dwarf culture, though.

 

I still want my Rock Knocker.  Legion of the Dead or Rock Knocker just seems like a great way to get around the whole "they can't leave their society without giving up their status" thing since they'd already be considered 'dead' anyway.  Handsome Gorim-esque Rock Knocker?  Yes please!
