I'm weak for the voice of the male FO4 PC ... it's such a smooth voice, every time he says "Paladin Danse?!." it's like bathing in liquid chocolate
It's like Male Hawke all over again.... Isn't it?

I'm more weak Danse's voice though. He has a random line that say "If you want something, just say it, I'll make it happen". I was surprised the first time I hear it though. Would be kinda cool if we could, we had the tuxedo, the ring, the church. What else do we need? ![]()
The protagonist has a cool voice, but I prefer a deep, raspy voice that Danse has. I just saw him smoking today, was a little bit surprised by it since he seems like such a boy scout. That would explain his raspy voice though. XD
I'm surprised no one find Maxson sexy though. He's fine as hell.

I find Maxson sexy as hell! So fine. So rough around the edges. He most likely smells like machine grease and sweat, like Danse.
I wish we could have married our LI though like FO2. Skyrim has it as well, but the characters are as deep as a water puddle, FO4 characters are more interesting. We have the church, we have the rings, the church already held a marriage, the LI can equip the ring. I don't see why we can't get married.
Maybe one of the expansion packs will have the option to marry your LI in it.
It was a Star Wars MMO, when I started Jedi's still had the perma death. It took a massive amount of questing to become a Jedi and once you got killed that was it, perma death lol. You could become a Sith too ... people would put bounties out on your head, they paid good credits xD It was seriously the best Star Wars game ever made (in my humble opinion) but SOE shut it down -.-
Hahah.. oh sorry forgive me coming into this thread I promise not to raise heckles, so if you'll permit a single off-topic drivel.
I just am amazed I came across someone that actually played that, for me that was the bees knees but then they were all you have to do a bajillion things to be force sensitive and I was like yeah... that's going to be a mess.. so I just skipped out entirely.
I had already bashed myself into the invisible wall that was EQ questing with the impossibility of obtaining the Fiery Avenger and stuff so I was pretty cynical, by the standards of most games today I'm sure it could of been fun though.
The reason I got into SWTOR was because they kinda knew everyone was going to want to be a Jedi so they overdid the Jedi thing and just made Jedi everything so you could get your Jedi on..
I'm so happy it's Chrismas! I'm getting KOTOR, and the other old KOTOR for Chrismas! I'm gonna play a Jedi Knight who does everything good (and is a woman) and who Romaces Doc. My Revan is gonna be a good girl Jedi who romance a male of some sorts. I'm so excited! I love Lightsabers!
Lol! I vaguely remember playing Jedi Knight for that that did everything good too, nowadays it would be positively rebellious in such edgy times saying things like "A Jedi's role is to protect," and "Is there any other way we can help" or "We must find a way that doesn't harm the civilians!"
Actually I can't remember the exact lines.. maybe those were SWTOR Jedi Knight
but I did play an all-good Jedi Knight in KOTOR once upon a galaxy ![]()

I'm surprised how well he pulls off that dress. ![]()
My favorite reindeer, Danser

I had an entertainer, master dancer, master image designer and master musician, had a fleet of droids equipped with music and light shows and ran a clothing emporium ... I was swimming in credits without ever doing any fighting
Danse, as beautiful as he is, is a terrible dancer, worse than Shep! But I guess it can be forgiven because of the nuclear fallout and everything
he does pull that dress off tho. Red suits him.

He's not a good dancer, because that's not his style. He loves country music. No, I'm not even kidding. He tells you that if you encounter Magnolia with him. Danse is a cowboy KISA. ![]()
I prefer him in white though, give him your original white outfit before the bomb, and he looks like a stay at home dad.
Funny you should say that because before I saw the original post, I thought for sure that this was one of your characters. You know that you have a type! All of your PCs have a similar look!
Yep, can't deny that!
Although I saw an incredibly handsome red-headed guy the other day with an awesome, full beard. I wouldn't mind a KISA who looked like that. (I know red-heads are your thing lol).
This has to be shared!
Merry Christmas!
I kept dying at all the parts where he's dancing in front of Maxson. It almost looked like Danse was going to bust out into a twerk at some point.
And then the ending happened!! LOL

Well thanks to you I imagine Danse line dancing now which means my day is basically over LOL
If I could direct the thread's attention back to Dragon Age for a moment... ![]()
I'd love to see DA4's gay/bi interests be warrior classes (obviously - this IS about the KNIGHT in shining armor, after all), AND be pro-mage. I think the closest we've ever had with regards to our warrior class LIs being on the mage's side was Alistair. Maybe Cullen, though the incident at Ferelden's Circle probably disqualifies him. I'm talking supporting the mages over the templars and the Chantry, wholeheartedly on the 'mages are people deserving of freedom and respect' train. I don't think any of our warrior class party members, not just LIs, but ANYONE in the party, have been adamantly pro-mage.
I can no longer look at Danse the same way anymore. He's too grumpy though, so his name is pretty ironic.
https://www.youtube....h?v=QrvvzRtjLcA
I never notice how Danse look like Kaidan until someone bring it up. I tried to compare them by giving Kaidan beard.
I can the resemblance, but I do notice the differences. I think Danse's eyes look sharper, he has different nose, eyebrows and mouth as well. Maybe I'm just bad at seeing similarity. I guess they could be cousin or something.
If you don't take personality into account, who would be your top 5 in term of look?
Just going with looks. If I was doing any video game, I'd say:
1. Cullen
2. Chris Redfield
3. Kaidan
4. Danse
5. Nathan Drake
If I was only doing Bioware games, I'd say:
1. Cullen
2. Kaidan
3. Jacob
4. Alistair
5. Blackwall
Hachi machi Kaidan with a beard is amazeballs!
riiiiiiiiight? He goes from 100% hot to 10000000000000000% omg hot.
he already keeps his hair out of regs .. might as well stop the shaving too ....
Merry Christmas, KISA thread.

I'm with you. I think Alistair did have that perspective, even to the point of being a little fascinated with the arcane and having such several lines addressing mage rights, but he didn't have much passion behind it. I would love a KISA who had a very positive view of magic and mages in general, and a very negative opinion of circle abuses.
Merry Christmas to you all!
In regards to the pro-mage KISA: Remember, that it's pretty much confirmed we're headed up North, where attitudes and positions of power are different for mages, specifically in Tevinter lands. So things may be very different from what we've been used to seeing with mages so far.
That said, having a KISA who is pro-mage would make him/her a popular companion, and I'm all for the gay/bi KISA(s) being well received by the fan base. However, I do not mind companions who are not pro-mage, or even anti-mage. So pro-mage, anti-mage, or neutral, I'm good with whatever in this regard.

My only concern with having a KISA from Tevinter be pro-mage would be how easily it could seem like it's just a result of social conditioning.
On the other hand, if a Tevinter gladiator KISA were pro-mage, that would work pretty well for me. They've been enslaved by a magocracy, and yet they haven't been soured toward magic. It would say something about the strength of their spirit and their idealism.

Tevinter gladiator... Now we're talking. If I get the Dragon Age version of Agron from Spartacus, I'll love him for EVER.
to derail this thread again ... I got pretty cozy with Danse in a dark elevator. It was quite thrilling

He said a lot of adorable lines though. "mmh.. What do you have for me today?", it's just melted me. ![]()
Here are the taste of music of each male.
Honestly, I don't want a perfect KISA. I'm ok with anti-mage KISA, even ok if he has some kind of prejudice, but I'm more concern about how ideology which should at least reflect what a KISA supposed to be. If Danse is a templar, I'm certain that he'd be more in line with Cullen. Someone who dislikes mages because of how dangerous they are but they do so in order to protect the weak.
so this happened
and hot damn ...

You know that's your son, right? lol
Then again, Danse is technically your grandson.
