My only concern with having a KISA from Tevinter be pro-mage would be how easily it could seem like it's just a result of social conditioning. 

 

On the other hand, if a Tevinter gladiator KISA were pro-mage, that would work pretty well for me. They've been enslaved by a magocracy, and yet they haven't been soured toward magic. It would say something about the strength of their spirit and their idealism. 

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.  Being pro-mage wouldn't be out of the ordinary in Tevinter. It's just how things are.  Mages up top. They have all the power, and many simply would not question.

 

I'm hoping that the potential KISA would be aligned in some way with Dorian and Mae.  Wanting reform and feeling powerless to do anything until allying with Dorian, Mae, and the PC.  That would be awesome. 

 

Tevinter gladiator... Now we're talking. If I get the Dragon Age version of Agron from Spartacus, I'll love him for EVER.

I know! My son is damn handsome. At least now I know what's in store for myself! My genes did a good job on Danse too. I started building a house for us with water view, storing fancy suits and flowers ... I'm nesting for Danse xD

I build and decorate a house just to roleplay a newly wed with Danse, maybe putting on some country music on the radio in the middle of the afternoon. XD . I really hope they add marriage in the game like Skyrim though, all the codes are in there.

Hey, this thread may not get the traffic flow of the Solas or Cullen threads, but it's been around for more than a year already.  That's pretty good in my book.

My perfect KISA would be something with dark chocolate, tart, not too sweet, bold, lingers on the tongue *cough* but what exactly... I have to think about it a little longer

What kind of dessert would Danse be? He's a bit too serious. I think it would be something with dark chocolate to reflect the hard exterior, and he's soft on the inside. I'm thinking he may be a dark chocolate souffles. 

 

While I love Alistair, he's funny, sarcastic, kind, I wasn't a fan of his immaturity. Still, he's my third choice of favorite male romance, even if I can't romance him. lol. All the good guys are straight.

 

My ideal KISA would be someone who is completely loyal and dependable like Danse, with a sense of humor like Alistair, and a fluffy romance like Kaidan. My perfect KISA would be a combination of those two.

But I can't think of anything bitter that is savory or soft and sweet on the inside for Danse. lol. Maybe something Western since his favorite music is bluegrass and country.

 

ME doesn't have KISA since they don't have an organization like that, so I think I'm gonna be waiting for DA4 for a long time, David Gaider has moved on to a different project, so a KISA like Alistair seems very unlikely. .

In that case, how about hickory smoked bbq? That would be kind of tough outside, tender inside. Plus, something about a smoky dish seems right for Danse.

It does seem to fit Danse, meat has a masculine tone, that dish also has a country vibe to it. I was thinking of chicken steak but smoked bbq seems to fit him as well. Danse is a real boy scout though, he goes to the bar and asks for non-alcoholic beverage. 

 

I think it would be nice if they're a part of a militant group. I think I want it to be as close to KISA as possible. Kaidan has shades of this, but just seems lacking in term of defining a KISA. Maybe the demeanor, he seems a bit too casual, but then Alistair is not very formal either. Not sure what. lol. I love Kaidan though.

Ok i thought this through ... my perfect KISA would either be dark chocolate brownies (hearty, homey, little bit of crunch on the outside but gooey in the middle 

 

OR

 

pepper crusted beef tenderloin with chocolate-port sauce. Spicy, sweet, tart, rich ... you can't imagine how it goes together but it does and great at that.

So I've decided to join in after a bit of lurking (plus hey! first post).

But yeah, it would be nice to have a KISA in the next DA, especially since ME did that already. Although in a way (for me, at least) DA2 did it with Hawke (his relationship with Anders was one of the most tender m/m romances in fiction I've ever seen). Anyway, I have faith in Bioware and DA4/Andromeda, the gay romances are miles ahead of the rest of the game industry and made me feel more at ease with myself as a gay man.

 

Also, it's awesome that most people here love Danse. His romance is great (but would have been better if Bethesda didn't drop his story line like a hot potato). It would have been nice to see him change a little, there's a lot in the game that says he doesn't really despise ghouls. The kid in the fridge, getting pissed at you if you mock Kent from the silver shroud quest and so on. Not to criticize Fallout too much, but the shallow interactions with companions make me appreciate the way BW does it even more (that plus no stupid vertibirds exploding and killing npcs mid-conversation with them).

I've thought of mine.

 

For a male KISA, steak tartare with black truffle salt. Nuanced and distinctive, with a hint of unconventional flair.

 

For a female, milk chocolate and passion fruit ganache. Charming and comforting. Individualistic but not aggressively so.
