Some Danse and Sole Survivor fan art popped up on facebook, wanted to share.

 

That Sole Survivor looks really similar to mine. Is even wearing the BoS flightsuit(my favorite outfit in the game).

I don't get why they need to change Danse's appearance though. I think he looks good the way he is. There is a rugged look about him that make him more attractive than the typical pretty boy look.

I guess it comes down to personal taste, but this Danse is no longer Danse, and I don't find him to be attractive at all.

 

Nothing wrong with modding appearance, I just don't see it as an improvement, I guess. There are some others like Curie mod where they give her blond hair and blue eyes, and make her look generic as hell. I guess people are leaning toward that conventional beauty look.

 

I think Danse looks good the way he is though, and so is Curie

Not only his eyebrows, his eyes also his best features. He can't pull off the puppy eyes look with those other eyes. lol

 

The only thing I may consider changing is probably MacCready's broken teeth, haven't decided yet, but it makes sense for him to have those teeth since he grows up in a place where no adults are around to teach him proper hygiene, and he sends all his money to help his kids, so I don't think he has money to fix his teeth.

I just hope in the new DA game there's something about the Hero of Ferelden,I would really like to see mine dating somebody new other than Zevran!.....just can't stand him!

Still make me sad that Alistair wasn't an option. Zevran is just not my type at all. I'm not really a fan of LIs who sleep around a lot, not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just not my cup of tea, I guess.

Not sleeping around that really bothers me,but the sleeping around with them and kill them right afterward.....Ugh~ I know he's not a Crow member anymore,but still,I do prefer someone more justice and heroic like...like Alistair,exactly!

If you romanced Zevran to the very end,there's an option for you that you can actually said to him before the final battle with archdemon,and it was:I love you,Zevran. And I was like: B*tch,I can't say that! LOL,no sir!.....so I said "I'm not dead yet!" to him instead.

I didn't get that far in my Zev romance.... I'm sad to say. And I'm so burnt out on DAO now; I've beaten in 5 time. I think that's enough times...

I like the Zevran romance. Yes he is no KISA, but his backstory is quite sad and the way he acts about it is interesting to me. The way he deflects with humor in another way than Alistair. Alistair uses it to get passed the awkward, or to make it more awkward (depends on your Warden), while Zevran uses it to boosts his ego, but they are both flawed and both need the same thing. Interesting to me anyways.

Alistair uses it to get passed the awkward, or to make it more awkward (depends on your Warden), while Zevran uses it to boosts his ego, but they are both flawed and both need the same thing. Interesting to me anyways.

You can't be Queen Consort as a guy (tell me if I'm wrong; I'd like to know so I can 'oh, good to know.') so you'd be forced to leave him a GW even if your a Cousland, which would suck...

I got you...I 100% agree with the Zevran's backstory part,he grew up didn't have a choice but to be a killing machine...but when a guy say to me:I killed her after spending 2 hours in bed with her. And yet it's the same guy who tried to kill me once...OR! A guy has been helping me from the very beginning,and suddenly ask me:Have you...ever licked a lamppost in winter? That would make me go fluuuuushing!

I mean, you don't have to marry him, you know? I'm ok with "mistress" like with the  non-human female grey warden. Also, there is an option to make him a grey warden, so it's not really a problem when only female humans can marry Alistair anyway. Personally, I would never make Alistair King since I prefer Anora as queen anyway, so the marriage option would have never come up.

Nah, I'm just responding to your questions. I would never put Alistair on the throne, so the marriage option wouldn't have come up either ways, even then, I'm ok with him keeping up appearance by marrying Anora but keep the Grey Warden on the side. Most likely though, he's probably just gonna be a Grey Warden in my game.

Was is a codex I was reading in DA:I......might have been....it said that ppl in Ferelden look the other way when it comes to homosexuality, but prefer to keep it private.  No marriage as that'd be too public, but if you wanna get cuddly with someone behind closed doors they're okay with that.  Isn't that bandit hideout in the Hinterlands the home of the lover of one of the old Arls of Redcliffe?  Then when the Arl died his wife let his male lover stay there till he died as she didn't mind.  I think, don't quote me.

I agree, I didn't want to do it as I prefer Alistair tbh, so I made a randy little dwarf who thought Zevran was super sexy (and oh so tall!)  They got on like a house on fire, chatting about poisons and murders and whatnot, after all they do that in Orzammar all the time, and what do you know?  I really enjoyed it.  Especially seeing Zev in DA2 and seeing him mourn my warden...that was awesome.

my mCousland would have lived in the castle as "best friend, adviser and brother in arms" as close as 2 peas in a pod OR we would have just gone our merry way as the double trouble Grey Warden team.
