For some reasons, MacCready kinda reminds me of Alistair, a more cynical version of Alistair in a way. he's pretty adorkable and fluffy, love to make jokes and not being serious, and his voice is just very warm. It's just like something that reminds me of Alistair, but it's probably just me though. Danse is very similar to Cullen.

I want to start another play through and romance MacCready but I know that once I see Danse's puppy eyes my resolve to romance anyone but him will be gone and I can't share my affections.

Just don't go to the Cambridge Police Station.
Speaking of FO4, I am once again amazed at how immersive and addicting simming can be. I spent hours making sure the few settlements I had were taken care of. It's like Harvest Moon all over again. I'm also surprised at how rapidly one has grown, considering it is small and minor.

Just thinking of not going to the police station makes me feel bad, maybe I romance MacCready first and meet the man of my life later. Shouldn't be too hard on MacCready since he has a wife and kid anyways

my mCousland would have lived in the castle as "best friend, adviser and brother in arms" as close as 2 peas in a pod OR we would have just gone our merry way as the double trouble Grey Warden team.
Lol. I would've never been able to romance Morrigan if Alistair was available to males. XD They'd have to forcefully evil to get away from Alistair's charms (which my Male Cousland was; to an extent.) I

I would never romance Morrigan period. I do not trust her nor her mother. The perfect man for my mCousland is out there somewhere. I hope he finds him before the calling finds my warden

I love Morrigan becuase my glumly, serious King Cousland now has a family now... ITS SO CUTE, I LOVE KIERAN. And I make Morrigan my mistress out of pure hatred of Anora. It works out in the end. Lol.

He had a wife. His wife is dead. I love Danse but he can be a bit serious sometimes, he dislikes it everytime I tell jokes, lighten up Danse. ![]()
MacCready can be pretty funny to bring along sometimes, just sometimes though, since I like to let Haylen and Danse catch up sometimes. Haylen often comes over to play with Danse even after his exile. It would be cool if we see Haylen at the bunker sometimes.

wait, how did I miss that his wife is dead? Stupid radio never turning the volume down when I'm talking to people.
I moved Danse from the Bunker back to Sanctuary and about lost it when I heard Vertibirds close in. They never came that close and haven't been that close since ... not sure what was going on.
MacCready always wants half of my loot! I'm like NO! Carry your own damn loot, I leave enough stuff behind xD

I actually feel it'd made more sense for MacCready to require constant loot as payment til you became friends. 200 caps for a til death do we part scenario? Way too low.

Can't even buy a decent amount of ammo for 200 caps xD

I had a lot of trouble with ammo in my first playthrough well into my level 20s. Then a friend suggested I give myself higher luck in my second playthrough and it really worked. You find more ammo even without the perk for it, and the other perks mean you can kill enemies much more efficiently. Now I have over 1000 bullets for every gun I regularly use.
And MacCready's broken perk helps too.

Oh yeah I always give my characters low luck. Seems fitting given how the story goes. (Meanwhile I can't give my courier low luck because it's just mind boggling XD)

I tend to give the characters SPECIAL stats based on who they were before they became a popsicle. So since the male was a soldier I tend to give him high Strength, Endurance, and Agility, whereas the female was involved with law so I tend to give her high Perception, Charisma, and Intelligence. Eventually they all get maxed out though.

I just installed a mod for more ammo xD I have this STR beefcake of a dude, high Charisma and Int but no luck (only in love .... *wiggles eyebrows*)
XD I make all my guys skinny. I do tend to play the pistol or sniper type so not too high on teh str. Companions are the pack mule in that case.

Ammo can be tricky, especially with the more rarer weapons like the Gauss Rifle. Or even plasma weapons, I can never find enough ammo for my plasma rifle.

don't remind me, if you ally with the BoS laser rifle ammo is kinda sparse too until you get to kill some raiders

Charisma is the best thing ever.... And my newest Skryim character may be Bisexual (a male Dark Elf) though he's like Zevran though and pefers woman (it's just becuase he decided to join the Darkbrother hood and the Thieves guild). He has a huge crush on Serana, the vampire lady.

I love the Dunmer.
If only DA elves could be as badass. I can be terribly superficial when it comes to video game characters, so DA male elves just do not do it for me when it comes to LIs. Too skinny, and very weirdly proportioned, no facial hair, etc.
(And I've been quietly hoping that if we do get a gay/bi male KISA that it isn't an elf. I'm terrible like that.) I'm really, really hoping for either a human or dwarf guy, if we get a guy.
To everyone,
Do you have racial preferences? Or does it not matter? Is there a race that you really want the KISA to be?
Is there a race you would really rather not have as the KISA option?
At the end of the day, if a hypothetical male KISA was an elf, I'm sure I'd learn to love the character. Especially if the personality works well with the KISA archetype and the character is very interesting/sweet/ etc. After all, Fenris became one of my favorite LIs. (He's as badass as a Dunmer, with a gravel-y voice on par with the male Morrowind Dunmer voice too. I think that helps a lot).

thinking about my past games and who I romanced where ... I always tend to pick the humans, going as far as to buy a DLC just so I could romance a specific type (hey there DA2 lol)
I mean, if there was a non human type of guy that fit my "flavor" profile I'd go for him but that has yet to happen

I'll always be more interested in the non-humans. I have a strange fascination for the "handsome monster" type so I'm a sucker for things like orcs, werewolves, qunari, turians, draenei, demons, ... you name it.
Humans are fine and all but that's already the only thing I see and am in real life.
No elves though pls

Nah; Im not picky. And i choose Drummer becuase I was like "okay. I already play a Human, I need a elf now. My elf is a bit of a pyscho to join the Dark brother hood in the first place; thought he pefers the Thieves guild over the Brotherhood and that's saying something. He's bi becuase I image he's dated men before but he pefers woman over all (he loves Serena; poor guy can't have her though, he's got a type for insane woman I suppose. )I love the Dunmer.

Yeah; I like Drummers; fun to play when your me; a sneaky stealthy bow and arrow shooting guy. Lol. (I'm talking about the character... Not me. I'm a lady,)

Maybe I do have a type though, I always lean toward the shy guy when it comes to romance, it's just adorkable to have a fluffy shy bumbling romance.
Skyrim: Farkas, a dumb oaf who is too nice for his own good.
DAO: Alistair, funny and shy
DA2: Anders: well, it's not like there's any other options that appeal to me.
DAI: Cullen: Too bad, I can't romance him, but I like the shy and straightforwardness of his romance.
ME3: Kaidan, keep to himself and pretty nice
FO4: Danse: awkward and dense. Pretty funny when you realize you were flirting with him.
Maybe my taste leans more toward humans, but I usually prefer the "nice guy". Maybe that's why KISA appeals to me.
Who did you guys romance in each game anyway?
