I spawned a coat for Danse lol but it turns out that I have a thing for rugged men with scars lawl

Is he? He gave me a Danse disliked that, when I said I wouldn't help them torture people, another dislike, when I told them to free that girl, and nothing, but a "you're making a mistake" when I agreed to let covenant continue to do what they do. So which one is it supposed to be?

The approval system is a bit contradictory, but he's telling you siding with them is a mistake. I feel like it's either showing the contradictory thought or just Bethesda being lazy or lack of thoughts into this. I always take the scripted line over it. Maybe he's against both synths and the Covenant. After his personal quest though, he will generally give more approval when speaking positively of synths though like if you talk about synth rights with the guy at the Bunker Hills.

He's the most manly and grizzled 20 year old I've ever seen. There's a reason everyone calls him Elder Daddy. They have probably had a lot more recruits since he became leader

Seeing I had many situations when what they said didn't match the approval prompt, I'd say this is Bethesda's lack of attention to detail. The same happened with Skylanes 1665, you get two recordings of how they crashed and they directly contradict each other. I don't get how they can spend so much time spelling messages with toy blocks and position all those bears, but make such glaring errors in other places.

Nah, I have no doubt that Maxson is on a warpath and nothing will stop him. But I agree, Danse as Elder would be a very satisfying ending. He would probably become with some character growth less strict about ghouls and syths, the empathy for others regardless of who they are is already there, the BOS could become more kind with him leading.

He would be the moderate option between Maxson and Lyon. he himself stated that Lyon is too soft and the BoS suffered as the result. Danse seems to have his priority straight, and while he's kind, he doesn't let emotions dictate too much of his actions. They probably didn't want to lock themselves into a story corner with that, they already had to quickly kill off Lyon off-screen to fit the story they had, imagine if for fo5 they had something planned for the BOS and went like "yeah, the last elder died, we have a new one" about Danse or the Sole Survivor

I usually go to Preston, at least he gives me one quest at a time, not like the radio which immediately gives you three...

 

I've gotten a 3 quests from Preston. My god it was horrible. I eventually started running whenever I saw him. (AND HE STILL GIVES ME QUESTS WHEN I'M CRAFTING. WHY IS THAT A THING?!?)

The RR cares only about the spy stuff, they are like kids playing pretend. The synths are theirs victims - they get told they were lonely and miserable all their life, dumped in the middle of nowhere and they still are awkward with people, because obviously fake memories cannot make up for a lifetime of socialization. Their tech guy is unstable, and if I get another Randolph mission I will nuke them from space (another sign they are incompetent, seriously, you cannot secure one route?)

And yeah they're just ugh. I think the place cameras mission actually has a limit (You run out of places) PAM tho and her wanting me to kill BOS never seems to run out. I'd like the RR a lot more if they actually thought about consequences as it is meh.

I don't even know if the MM are the "good" faction. They are just as scared of Synths like everyone else, they leave the nice Ghouls be but so does the BoS. The BoS talks a lot about eradicating everything non-human but they don't really act on it besides Synth hunting but even there they don't go all out. They didn't even try to investigate the mayor of D-City and the BoS flags do fly there in my play through now

 

They are literally the "leave us alone and we'll leave you alone" faction. after destroying the institute talk to them. That's exactly what they said "why couldn't they just left us alone?/Why didn't they just stay in their underground paradise why did they have to bother us?" They're scared of Synths because Synths kidnap and murder them to replace them. You can't divorce their fear of synths from that. (And see how they react to Nick a synth that is neither of those things.)

The Settlement thing has gotten so out of hand that i will never join the Minutemen again. What is cool is that you can actually claim and populate Settlements without beeing a part of the Minutemen. I like that. Took the Castle with me and Danse in a Vertibird last night, epic fight with the Mirelurk queen.

It is nice, but the outfit they give you, a pristine white shirt, clean sweater, and ironed slacks is the worst thing to wear if you want to blend in. Even a pink suit of power armor would be less subtle, at least people wear that... Also, Deacon changing clothes all the time is less hush hush than he thinks, he ends up being naked half of the time.

The Settlement thing has gotten so out of hand that i will never join the Minutemen again. What is cool is that you can actually claim and populate Settlements without beeing a part of the Minutemen. Oh yeah I definitely ignore that. I just use the weave and put it on my own clothes (why on earth isn't the vault suit upgradeable without mods? It's only the most iconic outfit with the most comments in the game devs! >_< )  I never ran with Deacon yet. (I should but I don't think our personalities mesh )

 

Oh god that always is good for a chuckle. poor Danse is having some issues letting go.

Hey, the white outfit is awesome, it's my Danse's go-to outfit since I like the casual look on him to contrast his military attitude, plus, he looks like a stay at home dad in that.

 

It would be cool if they expand companions in DLC, there are a lot of stuffs they can explore like Danse's story with the brotherhood, Rhys becomes grateful when giving out quests, he still treats you like an initiate even after he apologizes to you after becoming sentinel. I wouldn't mind more romance lines, like random stuffs they said around the world or a kiss would be cool. I doubt they could do sex scene with different body shapes, but it's not something I care too deeply about.

I put Danse exclusively in military garb, officer BoS suit and Maxson's coat over it > uniforms give me life!

If you get the younger Maxson mod it cleans him up and makes him a wee bit less gruff, it suits him and he looks roughly his age. The beard still ages him tho
