I don't know, Danse's romance is full of angst but it's my favorite romance. It's how tragic his romance is that make me really feel for him.

 

But there is only so much angst I can take before I cry

Well that's why I said I didn't want the guy's former boyfriend to have died or anything, I certainly don't mean that kind of angst. But it's just a preference. I can see the appeal of fluff, certainly.

 

I don't romance Dorian because he's gay. I usually play characters interested in men, because I'm interested in men, and I wanted to romance Dorian. To do that I had to make a male character. I ended up liking that character so much that he is now my canon Inquisitor and I won't play DAI with anyone else, regardless of the Dorian romance. It basically boils down to that single character changing the way I play the game.

 

Although my canon characters, and the first character I usually play, are female mages, I might just change that up in the next game because this whole gay KISA thing is so compelling. Of course, I won't know about it until I actually play because I'm going to go on a total info blackout, including info on the romance options. I'd really like to snag my preferred romance the first time for a change and be totally surprised about the character during that first play, rather than have some meta knowledge going into a second play, like I did with Dorian.

For me Danse is his own person, and Shaun is an attempt to recreate someone, who's long gone. At 10 he's already changed significantly from what he might have turned out if my character raised him. So I don't want him dead, but I have no emotional connection with him. I want him happy, but not with my character. And a parent who doesn't get to see their child grow up, but stuck is not a good ending for me. And it's kind of unfair to Danse, raising someone else's child for however long he stays alive. He may end up caring about him, but it seems for me he does not have the right to make that decision. That's my take anyway.

You can be immortal in this game though, so Shaun is probably not gonna see you die for a while. Plus, at some points, I'll probably give him a new body like we did with Curie to reflect the change of him growing up. It's my son's dying wish. I betrayed him once, I just can't find it in my heart to betray him again.

In some cases only, depending on how the Cabot quest plays out. And transferring may not work, that's why we could do Curie's quest in the first place, there is a huge risk of rendering them brain dead.

Huh. I don't know, after seeing the gen ones and sexless super mutants on the tables, I wouldn't trust them with not wanting to do some testing. Unless that is your intention that matches your character in that worldstate.

I think we should try to avoid attacking people for their interests. I wouldn't want to turn away potential posters who are interested in the option and the thread and may find the topic to be insulting toward them. There are females playing male characters, even as their primary file, regardless of the reason why they play it, I'm just happy that more people could use that content. It's a lot better than the disgusted attitude from the usual straight guy, to say the least. Still, I would prefer women who enjoy m/m relationship over those who want a gay best friend any day. 
 

I managed to do the Dorian romance after my Elven Rogue managed to get away from Cassandra..... I like it. For the most part, enoug so that I can image a KISA with that FEELS romance and I'll be happy. Though; I'd jump with joy if the next KISA is a Human Female (who's Bi) so that I can continue my theme of hard arse woman that can beat my dudes puny butt to the ground, lol... I think i only care about KISA's that are female by this point, lol. That's sad; as I'm a female player who plays guys for the fun of it...

The speculation is always fun for me too. That's why I made this thread so early.  So we could throw ideas out there and hopefully ninja devs would see our requests while DA4 is in an early enough stage for ideas to be implemented.

 

 

As far as body type:  I like big and muscular  (doesn't have to be tall, a dwarf KISA would be okay with me).  Chest hair would be a huge plus.  Lmao.
