There are several others ripped from the in-game files, where even though he has the censor bar you can still see the hair. Not that I'm trying to flood the KISA topic with (beautiful, glorious) filth or anything.

I feel kinda sad for MacCready, Danse seems to get all the attention for the guys. It seems a bit weird how they make MacCready look pretty old, like older than Danse even when Danse's age should have been older than MacCready. I guess since synth doesn't age, it doesn't make too much of a different. MacCready's voice is kinda growing on me though. I personally like both. He's my third favorite behind Danse and Cait. He's pretty funny, like when pretending to be a pirate during the USS Constitution.

 

I don't know why, but Danse, MacCready, and Maxson are just amazing in this pic.

MacCready and Maxson are about the same age and look what the Elder stress did to Maxson! I really enjoy MacCready and he enjoys me I guess, had to turn him down twice by now and he seemed a little sad about it.

Oh, I definitely see him taking the time to shave every morning, even while camping**. I don't necessarily think this is about vanity, but rather that he wants to maintain a certain appearance because he's had that drummed into his head since forever. He might also have 5 o'clock shadow, or not, but I do think it would be quite noticeable the next morning.

 

 

** This is rather silly, but for this I go back to a scene of Kirk Douglas in a movie where he is outdoors and shaves. It is completely obvious that he just sits and shaves like he normally does for the scene, because you see him actually stretch out his cleft chin and shave that as well. It was so damn awesome, and up until that point I had always wondered how a guy with a cleft chin shaves XD.

I do modding and have looked up the image files for you. They are:

DA3/Actors/IronBull/Appearances/Var1/Textures/qm_ironbull_nude_d - chest, back, hands, arms

DA3/Actors/IronBull/Appearances/Var1/Textures/qm_ironbull_nude1_d - same as above, but with the tattoos

DA3/Actors/IronBull/Appearances/Var1/Textures/qm_ironbull_nude2_d - legs, feet, with genital hair

 

The actual rendered model -- qm_ironbull_nudelegs_model_mesh -- has a black rectangular cuboid right over his genital region. In comparison, all of the other nude male models look like Ken dolls with no censor blocking, and no hair.

 

Even if you used a 3D modeling program to remove the censor bar, I very highly doubt there are fully-rendered genitals underneath. I think they likely added the cuboid only because they have the hair there. I've seen the image floating around tumblr, and that flaccid appearance that is partially draped over his thigh does not conform to the cuboid shape, and they would likely not add structure "bones" to the model simply for that.

 

I am very confident when I say that anything else on the internet is a fan edit only.

I don't know if he'd care for "manscaping" either, really, other than a trim or something. Ain't nobody got time for that. And then there's stubble burn on sensitive bits and all that... geez.

 

But about body models, I got annoyed with same-body-syndrome in DA2 when a good chunk of the hands had the Anders moles. So, if they are going to reuse resources in that way, I prefer that there be as few distinguishing features as possible or else it will be jarring (to me). And as I said, it gives greater freedom for head-canon.
