No competition at all! We had Aveline and Sebastian in DA2, and Cassandra and Cullen/Blackwall in DAI (depending on your point of view
), so I don't see why there's only room for one knightly type.
Seriously, why not both? The KISA is a very general archetype. It would hardly stretch the bounds of plausibility to have two companions of different genders who both happen to be KISAs and both potentially interested in the same sex. There's still plenty of ways to make them unique. One could be an extrovert, the other an introvert. One could be rigid and unbending, and the other could be a little more flexible.
(Edit: Morally flexible! I meant morally!)
I'd personally like it if one of them was exclusively gay and the other bisexual. Neither of those orientations have been connected to a KISA type of character in this series, so it would make for a good addition.
It's right there in my OP. I'm hoping for a male and female KISA both available for S/S romance. The thread's title is gay KISA sure, but gay can pertain to both male and female. I had considered the title of this thread to be the LGBT knight in shining armor, but I will admit that I was actually a bit wary of doing that because I thought it might attract more trolls and flames..... It may have been a silly thought, but there you go.
And anyway, we've had multiple KISA characters in the same game before (Cass, Blackwall, and Cullen) all three of them straight, so I don't see why we couldn't have two KISAs in the next game who are not straight. One guy and one girl.
Also, time for a shameless request!!!
If you guys agree with what this thread is all about and enjoy posting here, but haven't given the OP a like, please consider doing so! I'd really like for this thread to make it into the top 20 most liked content on this site. It is so close! Only 5 more likes and it will make the cut! Thanks!!!
I believe that was very, very wise of you Sandal. The very use of "LGBT" seems to trigger some people.
Idiots, mostly. Much better to avoid attracting their attention most of the time. Like with zombies.
