Danse's humor is more self-depreciating, he usually takes it well when you make fun of him sometimes like when you say that there's a heart underneath those metals. A lot of his humors happen because he's too serious sometimes. Like him being a scaredy cat, talking about how he's trained to not be surprised then instantly being surprised by a noise. Yeah, his humor is more dry. He's more like Cassandra in term of humor. If you take him to Diamond City, he starts to accuse Takahashi of being a commie. It's just awkward all around. It's basically someone who takes things too serious that it becomes funny.

 

Maybe I'd have warmed up more the Blackwall if he has more of a personality. I don't get a sense that he cares about people's opinion but more like avoiding conflicts. Vivienne straight up belittles him and says that she would kick his ass and he has nothing to say back. Almost everything takes a dump on him and he never really says anything back. I kinda want to stand up for him but we really can't though as the inquisitor.

He's also confused by Deezer. It's adorable really.

 

Blackwall honestly is most aggressive with Vivienne. He says she's pampered, spoiled, and cares nothing about helping people. Weird that you would point to their relationship. (And mages are super powerful, she could freeze him before he got to her, he realizes that) And Vivienne is shitty to almost everyone, I really wanted to kick her out. When I learned that she could become divine, I said at my screen 'over my dead body.' I don't go to her thread and start fights or anything, but by the maker, she made me angrier with every single thing she said.

We can be shallow together Battlebloodmage, while we wait for the perfect KISA.

 

I'm not sure what put me off of Blackwall's romance. I usually like beards but I think he looked to old for me? I got more of a rough Santa feel from him than the "I need you in my life forever" feel I got from lovely Danse. 

There's only love. Kaidan did make a lot of people wait and Danse could use some verbal self-defense classes. And hugs, that poor hairy baby.

I did appreciate the Griffon he built, I thought it's cute and I wanna build one too now with my lacking woodworking skills. I'll never pass the skill check but I can try. For me he'll forever be Browall, nothing more. 

 

Poor Danse needs some swaddling and a big ole kiss. He acts so tough and is full of self doubt, it makes me feel stuff.

Speaking of Deezer, anyone knows why Strong knows what pee taste like?

 

I feel sorry for Danse. Shaun asks you why Danse always look so sad and lonely all the time. I wish I could tell him though. His entire life is just so sad and depressing. I just wish he could find happiness someday outside of the SS. Haylen was nice enough to visit him. I wish I could find a way to bring him back to the BoS though, he deserves it.

Go to the main page of the forums and scroll to the bottom.  On the right hand side, just above the list of users currently on the site, you will see a tab that says "Most liked Content."   Click it!

Oh, Allan....

 

His spirit was too pure for a fetid mire like this.  He just simply left because of all the negativity and hasn't graced us with his presence since (around the time of DAI's release or shortly after if I recall correctly).

Personally not a big fan of him, but I'm guessing he has no reason to be on the forum now that they have a new mod system, and there is no reason to monitor too much when there is no new games coming out and no information being released. Some of the Bioware people may look around here and there, but I don't think they should be here constantly like back when DA about to be released.

Well, that could be the case as well, but I'm pretty sure the negativity had something to do with it.   I hope he comes back when the new IP gets closer to release.

He's in a very conflicted position at the moment. In the cut content, he said that while he may be a synth, his heart is with the BoS, and that the Institute is still a problem. If only we could have that ending, maybe they'll add it in a DLC. I want Danse to be with the BoS so bad because it was the one place where he feels needed. The BoS gives him his purpose in life. He may emotionally be happy with the SS, but as Shaun indicated, he still feels very sad and lonely by himself. He lost his purpose, everything about his life has been a lie, and all the people he calls friends and family now wants him dead.

 

In Fallout 2, if you lose the arm wrestling contest against a supermutant, he would have some bondage sex with you after, so maybe not everyone is the same.

According to Strong they hang the bodies for 2 days for the taste, so ugh....just no. Bethesda can throw any number of semi likable mutants at me, I won't change my mind about them.

I know but at the same time I think he would love to be back with them. He could retire in a couple of years before his not-aging business becomes a problem. He has nothing but the SS right now and it makes me sad

I KNOW!!!  Back before  DAI's release, I did a little doodle of Dorian wearing the Inquisitor hat (formerly known as DAT HAT) and posted it in Dorian's thread, and Allan liked it.  It was great.  We butted heads once or twice in my youth, back when I was MUUUUUCH more of a troll, but we ended on good terms.  He's the sweetest of the BioWare employees hands down.

you're absolutely right though, he needs a new purpose in life, one besides the SoSu, I try to build our immortal life as a family but his dependency wouldn't be healthy in the long run
