In a perfect world, my idea of a perfect world, there'd be several options for M/M warrior next time around. I've veered away from the Chevalier idea. I think I'm a little bored with it. At the risk of completely destroying any remaining standing I might still have with the "these games are becoming dating sims," crowd, I actually think four of each gender would be the ideal number of options.

 

The guys:

Korbin (from DAMP) -  Gay. Altruistic, protective, and surprisingly gentle for such a fierce warrior. Legionaire. He's "team dad" to the maximum degree. The one almost everyone gets along with.

 

Nevarran Dragon Slayer - Bi. Charismatic, ambitious. Looks and talks like the male version of Cassandra.

 

The Tevinter Gladiator - Bi. Clever, rogue-like warrior in the same vein as the silent sister in DAMP. Well read, loves poetry. Former fog warrior, freedom fighter. My fondest wish for a future companion/LI.

 

The Tevinter Battlemage - Straight. Defeated antagonist turned optional companion. It's complicated. He's like Bishop.

 

the ladies:

The Glamorous Dark Sorceress - Lesbian.

 

Belinda Darrow (from DAMP) - Bi. Sweet tempered and idealistic Templar.

 

The Elven Bard - Bi. Sneaky double agent with a heart of gold.

 

Vashoth Mage - Straight/Bi

 

 

Anyway, that's just my fantasizing.

My only interest would be

1. The gay KISA, obviously.

2. A gay bard. Someone who is unintentionally charming and adorable, easygoing and fun, not snarky though. Keeps trying to serenade men with his poems and love songs, but he isn't very good at it and always misses the mark one way or another. A '' hopeless romantic '' kind of person. Probably a dwarf.

3. The male Josie, or rather a bisexual male damsel in distress straight outta Disney. Someone of nobility, very shy, extremely kind, modest, submissive, but very intelligent. He'd kick in all the '' I wanna be your KISA and save you  and never let you go '' feelings in both men and women. Inexperienced in love, maybe. 

 

And for female options I think a lesbian qunari/dwarf and a straight female rogue. Those would probably sell pretty well?

I kinda like to have a faux KISA. Someone who is chivalrous but may not actually have the strength to do what a KISA supposed to do, so he may get into troubles way over his head. He may be a nobility as well. Basically, what stands out about him is that he tries his best, he's just just your everyday guy, but his sense of justice and passion are that of a noble knight.

1. Female Duel Wielding Gladitor - Bisexual (or Harding) - is like Xena pretty much.

2. Male Human Tevinter Templar - Bi - DA2 Cullen pretty much in terms of personality

3. Male Human Ferelden Barbarian - Gay, definitely - Is the typical KISA

4. Female Seerer - Straight - Opposite Isabela

5. The male version of Morrgian - Bisexual (or it's the Human Templar) - Ruthless, wiling to do anything to achieve his goals, has a good sense of humor

6. Male Elven Rogue - Straight - Is kind of like Robin Hood in terms of personality

7. Dwarven Male Warrior - I dunno, any. - Whole hardly believe in the stone, is only romancable by other dwarves

8. Female Human Warrior - Gay - also another typical KISA type

I don't know how lore friendly that is, but that sounds adorable.   If he sang songs like Maryden  but with a surprisingly rich, deep voice, then all the better.

Dwarf LI's... (Sighs happily ) I want one so badly.... But yeah; basically if I get a Robin Hood type LI, I'd go Insane. I mean - we've never really had one before hand... And I'm not sure that counts as a KISA (Robin Hood, i mean, he does a lot of KISA stuff; but he's a rogue and a natural leader. I image a City Elf would do; I mean they'd have more then one reason to steal from the rich and give to the poor...) But anyhow; I like my list.

Thinking back on my games and the LIs, I never romanced anything but humans xD my taste is pretty onesided. Not even in ME!

Well, personally I'm all for a male dwarf LI.  (I was never interested in Varric as a LI though).   But I have my doubts about it happening.  In DAI we were introduced to several dwarf girls-  Harding (meh), Dagna (love her), Bianca (haaaate her), and Valta.    I was so happy that they gave us a new dwarf guy Renn, but then....  urgh, why couldn't Bianca have been shot by a lyrium gun instead??  RIP Ren. 

 

I wonder if the reason they've been reluctant to give us a dwarven LI is because female dwarves look.... under age?  Like, really under age. Especially in DAI.

 

Not the guys though, with their beards and musculature.  

 

Have you played as a male dwarf Inquisitor, MacDeath?  Dwarf guys actually make the Skyhold pjs look good.  Especially from behind. Lol.

Jesus Christ, right?! I wish they'd kept his backstory. Something about a duel, and that Ophalla lady, and how he killed her lover and was disgraced for it... or left Neverwinter so he wouldn't be disgraced for it, I can't even remember. But it was waaaay more interesting than OLD OWL WELL.

Oh how I love it when my two favorite topics (dwarfs and gay KISAs) collide.

Artifice!  I don't know how I never thought of Korbin for a gay KISA before!  He'd be perfect!  I'm not loving his skull-like facial tattoos, but his voice is pretty great.  And I love his attitude.

 

Seriously, the DAMP dwarves are killer.  I pretty much only play as Korbin, Luka, and Pala.  Speaking of Pala, how about a Silent Sister lesbian KISA?  Or, what about two dwarf characters, a Silent Sister and her partner and translater (like Farindan and Hanashan), who are both bad ass warriors and in a relationship with each other?  I've got a ton of gay dwarf ideas.  <sigh>

*thinks of Varric sadly* I so wanted to romance Varric; so.... Yeah... Maybe next game I'll get the dwarf I need to satisfy my Female Cadash being sad (I would've dumped whomever I was Romancing for Varric to be honest).
