Your character feels kind of like a creep, pushing yourself on him with the dragon tooth after some casual sex. He never shows any romantic feelings until one or two Trespasser skits but gets nothing substantial compared to the others (especially compared to the Dorian/Bull romance). I don't even remember an actual kiss.

Exactly. It's bothersome, I don't like feeling needy or pushy, and in general the whole romance kinda feels like I need and want him more than he wants or needs me... now, that's not a nice feeling to have!

Hey I also married him in Skyrim. "Conquer your enemies, my love." he said the cutest thingsFor me, my preference goes: dwarves > qunari >>> humans >>>>>>>>>>>> elves.
In DA: O, I only had an elf. In DA 2, I had an elf and a human. In DA: I, I had a qunari and a human. So, on paper, Iron Bull should be my favorite and, physically, he's way up there. But the whole "top only" thing that he does is a little off-putting to me. So I'm left with a slightly disappointing 2nd racial choice, two 3rd racial choices, and two last place racial choices. I'm ready for them to mix it up a bit.
In Skyrim, I always go for an orc. In fact, I have one particular orc that I'm partial to: Ghorbash the Iron Hand. And since I play as an orc as well, it ends up culminating in a gay orc adventurer couple building a home, running a household (I like the one at Lakeview Manor), and adopting two children and a dog. In fact, this has got me nostalgic. Maybe I'll pop in Skyrim when I get home tonight......
For me it's human/orc/werewolf*>>qunari>dwarf and a galaxy away there are elves.
*if they are done correctly
I didn't dislike the top only approach, more found the "I'm gonna dictate exactly what to do and you will enjoy it, because I know better than you what you want." attitude very unsexy. It's like all of his easy going nature suddenly evaporates.

That aspect of Bull's romance had me skeptical at first. But now I just take that into account when RPing my Inquisitors. Some of my Inquisitors are perfectly happy to have Bull take charge, and so they romance him. The ones who aren't okay with that go for Dorian.
And since some of us are ranking the DA races in order of LI preferrence, for me it's:
Human and dwarf are pretty much tied for the top spot >>>> qunari >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> elf.
I do hope that if any ninja devs are out there ninja-ing, they take note that the idea of a male elven gay/bi KISA isn't particularly popular with the guys in this thread. Lol.

Elf is yaoi, human and qunari are bara. j/k
I just hope relationship is more romantic than jokey the next time though. Iron Bull romance rubbed me the wrong ways in many ways, not only BDSM sex is not optional, the relationship is pretty jokey. At least, he doesn't abandon you like Dorian did. Oh well.

He can betray you, I think that counts as worse. I would rather be abanonded over being betrayed by a love one

Meh, the Inquisitor deserves it if they decide to sacrifice the Chargers. You told him to kill his family and side with the Qun, so that's what he did.
It's something preventable instead of with Dorian. It's like with Thane and Miranda, both can be killed, but you can choose to save Miranda but you can't with Thane.

I know, but still it's a worse crime for the Iron Bull to betray you then abandonment.
And yes, I agree with you on the second half.

I think it's more like Dorian has never been put in the situation where he has to choose between his country and his friends. Even in that instance, he left to go back to his country, so the answer is kind clear. I find Inquisitor betrayed him first by forcing to choose his job over his friends. It's basically reaping what you sow at that point.

Huh elves ARE yaoi. They don't want to give a female dwarf romance, because they look too young, but male elves with the big eyes and barely legal feel are ok.
If devs are watching, please no more gay elf romances, we've had enough of them.

But then elves can't have beard. ![]()
Elf's body is pretty skinny because it's their race, but I want them to pull another Sera, using the human body instead of the elf body. They could easily justify it as city elf, so they can't wear elf armor.

My Dark Elf is a sneaky, sneaky man that has a normal body type for a Rogue (not too skinny, not to buff. Just sort of in between the two). My Dark Elf is the leader of the Darkbrother hood, the College, and a member of the Nightingales. He could give Leliana a great chase for her money if he so wished, lol.Would love to see a trope-subverting gruff lumberjack elf like my Wood Elf in Skyrim. Of course Skyrim had body sliders and mine was buff and not stick-figurey.

Would be kinda weird for the guards to arrest you for pickpocket as the ruler of skyrim though.

I loved making a muscular Altmer. I don't know why I love bulky magic users in Daedric armor so much, but I think it has something to do with how cool spells look in those pointy gauntlets.
I wish one of these RPGs would make Elves more Tolkien-esque in design. DA elves being shorter than humans is mostly a mark against how appealing I find them as LIs.
