Honestly, Samson looks like he has a skin condition. That doesn't make anyone with skin conditions less attractive, but in his case it seems to be a result of all that red lyrium. He looks really unhealthy and a drug addict.

 

I like to pretend that Sebastian experimented in his reckless youth and found out he enjoyed the company of men too much, so went running back to the Chantry.

I like men with acne scars. It tells a story, that they've had to deal with this fuckt up skin condition. Those are the REAL battle scars. 

He does look a bit unhealthy, but more the reason to tell him that he can be loved and found attractive, because he probably feels like **** about how he looks

 

Like, I'd like a KISA, but I also want to be a KISA to my KISA. I want to lift him up when he is down, tell him he is worthy.

Samson probably doesn't get that much and that makes me fawn, just a little.

And Samson has that beaten down drunkard puppy look, and I find it alluring. He looks like someone who has never been loved and cared for, and I'm SUPER into those kinds of men, well, in games anyway. His voice makes my loins burn, too. Damn that voice, so amazing. 

 

But by no means is he ugly though.. well, imo anyway.

This is appealing to me as well. I like helping a LI work through their issues, whatever those are, showing they can depend on me, building trust, and so on. I'm really into supportive trust issues.

More of the badass gay topic than this one, but it would have been cool to romance Sebastian and continue to encourage him down the ruthless political path. I like where his character was headed in the DAI war table and would love to see how he continues down that.

 

It reminds me of Nalia in BG2:ToB. She started showing signs of being hungry for power, though she justified it as wanting to use power to help others. I don't know that we've had many (any?) companions that can be corrupted, rather than redeemed through the power of genitalia.

This was missing from DA:I though... most of the time, you are there to just fix your LI's problem, but I don't think they ever want to console you, MOSTLY because the Inquisitor doesn't really lose at any point, and canonically (outside of headcanon, anyway) nothing groundbreaking happens to then.

 

DA2 had Hawke's mom's death, and it was amazing to get some support from your LI. We need a scene like this in the next game, where we are broken down and our LI tries to lift us up.

The Inquisitor's romance has not impressed me so much, than for example Fenris–Hawke's love. The comforting scene was really good example. Would be nice to see more like this. More interaction between the couple.

Wow I'm so guilty of this. I really like when I can be the emotional support for my LI (and then get it back). I liked it with Anders, and Danse. I really wanted an option in FO4 to tell him that he's wrong, that he's not nothing.

 

The emotional turmoil was what really attracted me to Danse, Isaac from Dead Space, and Alex from Silent Hill. I should probably not analyse why
