Moondragon is in my post. But she's definitely not a KISA. She's uh, "shifty bisexual", lets be real. She's also a really old character, so you have to take that into account when your'e talking about portrayals of her from the 70s and such. 

 

Oh! Another KISA from comics...well, both of them are, really. Billy and Teddy from Young Avengers. They're both so bleeding heart noble it breaks the heart. Also cool because it's a team book and Billy is arguably the protaganist.....so unlike most LGBT characters in comcis, they aren't sidelined. And their love saves the multiverse, which is pretty awesome.

Still kinda sad that she's only straight... I would have been one of the countless people very interested in her being Bi, but alas, it is not to be! But um.... if we are going by DA stuff, I would love either a dwarf or qunari knight! Who says knights can only be human? Maybe a surface dwarf that entered the knighthood or Wardens?

Yesss dwarf knight! I haven't played a lot of dwarves but when I do I like making them 2-handed warriors. They might be short, but they are tough! Also a noble, knightly dwarf would be a nice balance to all the sneaky, underhanded politics happening among the dwarves in Orzammar.

If we're talking about a Knight in Shining Armor based on a superhero then mine favorite would be Allan Scott, the leader of DC Earth-2, who is charismatic and intelligent. He always does what he believes is right. His only fault is his stubbornness which led the the death of his fiancee.

........I usually make my guys to be the sleep with anything that moves kind of guy. My guys are usually more gray than white.

 

Anywho, my first two characters will be mages, so that automatically disqualifies me.

 

But I'm hoping to make a Tristan Trevelyan as my third character. An order abiding, kind and benevolent, Templar Warrior.

I wouldn't count him specifically because his fiance was fridged, in that as far as issue 12, it's never mentioned again. He's gay, but not visible.

My warrior that I'm going to pair with Cassandra is kind of a snarky KISA, he makes jokes but ultimately he will try his best to protect everyone! I'll probably make him a Templar, despite me not liking them in game, I love their specialization. x'D

My PC for Sera will definitely not be a KISA, lmao. I have that character all planned out, she's a weenie and a hipster. Maybe for Josie, idk? She's not (so far) as appealing to me as some of the other options, so I haven't thought about her as much so far. Actually KISA fem Adaar could be super cute with her. :3

I can def see rolling a KISA type for Dorian or IB, sounds like a fun dynamic. But I haven't given those PTs as much thought either, since my current plan is to do Sera, then Solas.

I think my Solas character will be kind of KISAy, and although it will be a straight relationship, she will def be bi.

This ones a pretty weak example and I fear might fall into a trope but she is still a character that I like and do believe is gay (at least she comes off as actually being in love with the female lead rather than just being close friends to me) She's a side character who sadly doesn't get a lot of screen time but I still love her. She's caring and playful and did sacrifice herself for the woman she loved. Maybe I'm seeing it through rose colored glasses but I really do not care. Her name is Piale and she's from Sea Prince and The Fire Child.

I'm actually pretty sad that I can't think of a lot of examples of LBGT characters in any official fandoms. I need to expand my horizons more.

Actually, that's a good question-- since we don't have our gay KISA for DAI, how many of you are gonna make your PC a gay/bi/lesbian KISA?

 

My first one definitely will be.  I'm going with a qunari two-handed warrior, named Talan Adaar.  Likely the mohawk haircut (unless the bald one has a little stubble), close cropped beard, and either no horns or one damaged horn.  He'll be the coppery colored skin tone with light (either blond or white) hair and pale blue eyes.  I picture him in full armor and with a massive warhammer or battleaxe. 

 

He's going to be fully in the KISA archetype.  He'll choose the diplomatic and peaceful option as much as possible, so I'm expecting that Josie will be his right hand girl.  He won't be afraid to be aggressive if need be, particularly against mercenaries, bandits, slavers, and blood mages, though.  He will not be Andrastrian (instead being non-religious), but will embrace his role in the Inquisition as a "this is the way to help the most people".  That being said, he'll be fiercely loyal to his comrades-in-arms.  I also picture him having a wry and understated sense of humor (unlike my Warden who was super serious and my Hawke who was a silly fool). 

 

He's got his eye on Dorian, but I could easily see IB charming the pants off of him (literally) in an 'opposites attract' kind of way.  I'll have to see who he has better chemistry with.

Yeah, he's being pitched as the leader of Earth-2. In Young Avengers, the main character may often be Billy, but it's Kate Bishop who is pitched as the leader. Since my version of KISA is often have to do with charismatic leader, Alan Scott seems to fit the image. I think Earth-2 is too condense. They need to make another series revolving around the team specifically. Alan Scott's relationship would be explored more.

Not for DA:I as I can't do her justice because of the lack of body types. I did make her in Dragon's Dogma though. Her class has been fighter/mystic knight
