In Exalted Plains you can find a dying woman trapped in one of the encampments overrun with undead who asks you to take her ring to her commander at Celene's base, her commander is also a woman and the way she receives the ring and her grief suggests there was a personal relationship between the two... I'm still miffed that I couldn't give the woman one of my magical healing potions and save her (or as a mage have healing magic and do the same thing), there are several soldiers in that zone I could have saved if allowed to Damn it.

Oh and do Celene and Briala count? Also you can hear from Wade and Herran through the war table after you kill a dragon.

I never finished that quest with the ring!  Yes, I totally see it now. I must get around to giving the ring to her. Thanks.

Yes, Celene and Briala count, but they are almost too obvious for me. I was more looking for random NPCs like that young couple in Crestwood.

There are two men outside on the balcony in the Winter Palace that is a couple. They were fighting because one of the man was talking to another man, and his partner was jealous of that.  :P  :D

I did hear that conversation. Also, there was a guy who was hitting on Cullen at the ball. He complemented him on his hair and his eyes. He was a flamboyant little guy in full Orlesian garb and a mask, and I liked that Cullen treated him the same way he did the three women who were fawning over him.

I don't know where you guys are coming from but Dorian could get very b*tchy sometimes. He wasn't the typical gay femme b*tch and he didn't do it all the time, but he came across as overly defensive and catty every so often.

A lot of Dorian's snootiness is a defense mechanism, plus the fact that he gets a kick out of egging characters like Cassandra on. That doesn't completely excuse his behavior, but there are reasons for it.  Also, Dorian is *very* quick to apologize when he steps on his fellow companions' toes, and he genuinely wants to be on people's good side or at least on neutral terms.  He even tries and fumbles repeatedly with Solas to be friends, but Solas keeps shooting him down with his dour attitude. He even extends an olive branch with Blackwall, to the point where Blackwall asks Dorian if they could ever be friends.

Might as well post this here. It seem Bi Cullen was planned and dialogue still exists in the game's files.

I don't know what to say. Cullen would have fit the bill in regards to this topic.

I will try not to be disappointed over this, since it looks like the possibility for a bi Cullen was within reach after all.

Exactly sandal.  I'm trying to stay positive.  They wanted to put Cullen in, which is exactly the type guy that we are asking for.  Nata reminded me earlier today that at GaymerX, one of the devs mentioned there being a character who was intended to be bisexual, but they couldn't get the story right and s/he ended up being straight instead.  It's making me think that it was going to be Cullen, but they couldn't figure out how to make it work (possibly because he was an existing character with a background where could be interpreted as being straight).

I'm going to cross my fingers (and toes and eyes and anything else I can) that this means that we might very well see a gay KISA in DA 4.  Seems like they are open to it and just need it to fit into the story better than it would have with Cullen.

The only consolation is that some time in the future PC players maybe be able to experience what was originally planned. Here's hoping.

You know who could have fit the bill? Ser Barras (I think that's his name) from the Templar mission. AND he would have been a person of color. But then again, one would have needed a mage from the Redcliffe mission. Actually, this is leading me to an idea that would most benefit from a separate thread so I'll stop here.

I have yet to meet Ser Barras outside of Val Royeaux because I've sided with the mages both playthroughs.  He is pretty though.  Those eyes!

Yes, here's hoping for DA4.

But I am happy with Dorian. He's not a KISA, but that's okay. He's an even better companion/LI than I expected him to be, and I already expected him to be great. No complaints.

I can't hold it in any longer. You know what I would have done? As much as I am a fan of Dorian, I would have folded his character and romance into Felix. I mean just look at the similarities: Both from Tevinter, fighting against what their homeland is doing and more specifically, what their fathers represent. Also, it would tie the romance to the story even more, and just think, it could have been written so that the reason Felix and his mother were travelling was to get away from Alexius after his blood magic conversion therapy, of course Felix gets the blight as as they say, the rest is history...

"okay, the ONLY reason cullen wasn't romanceable by a male inquisitor in the final game is because his cinedesigner ran out of time."

I guess that's...hope maybe? The stuff might get patched in later or added along with DLC, like how sometimes DLC might include hidden patches. I think Bethesda has done things like that, could be mistaken. It's something at least, or clutching straws...

Rats, so close then.

Still though, I will be happy with what I got in DA:I, and hope for a future gay/bi KISA.  I don't expect them to "change" Cullen now that he is straight in the base game. Honestly, I don't think they should at this point.

That makes me kind of angry.  Not the protected part.  The part where they 'ran out of time' and now we don't get to romance him.  I agree that it's too late to 'change it', but it's really ****** bullshit that this happened.  Okay.  I'm actually taking a step away from the forums for a bit because I'm that ****** angry about this.  Seriously ****** pissed.

breathe, just breathe. Think of it this way: next time we'll get an original KISA without all the previous baggage.

Wait...seriously?

That's...amazing.

Just...amazing.

Can we get a dlc for that or something? I mean...that means all of it is in the game except some scenes

Videos of Mqusitor romancing Sera look fine...so...What someone need to try and do is get the gender glitch and romance Cullen with an Mqusitor then see how it looks.

The part that gets me really mad was that he was the second EXTRA romance for straight women.  I know it wouldn't have worked with his character, given that we knew he liked gals since DA: O, but it chaps my ass that they got two extra and they ran out of time to give us one.  AND, that one would have been a KISA.  I know, I know.  "Extra" is extra and I should be happy with what I got, but it still stings.

Now I really, really owe Epler a giant thank you because if I wouldn't have had access to Bull as a dwarf and found out that I didn't get Cullen because they ran out of time, I'd be hella pissed.

I'm sure I'll calm down a bit by tomorrow, but I'm actually really steamed right now.  I'm not on PC, so I can't mod that content back in.  Urgh.  Keeping positive:  Yes, hopefully they read this thread and realize how important it is for many of us to get a character like this and we see one in DA 4.  That's all I can keep hoping for.

I'm going to log off and go ride my battle nug around the Exalted Plains for a bit to cool off.......

I haven't heard of any cases were female inquisitors have been gender swapped so far.

Looking on it though, I'm kind of glad that Cullen wasn't finished in time, only because that would leave lesbian women short a romance as well, (not to mention straight guys,,,can you imagine the raging firestorm that would ensue?) Also, if. I'm going to be honest, I would rather have Bull than Cullen.

Was it really one or the other though?

Plus straight guys already did their raging firestorm. Couldn't be much worse.
