Actually now that you mentioned it she did turn into quite more KISA than I thought at first. Really want to make her my main character now but I'm still leery about using gay characters with other people most of the time it doesn't go over quite well if the character is more than a side character. Doesn't mean I don't love my KISA girl any less though

Maybe she'll get her moment in the sun in the sequel, spin-off story that you can write about her? 

On a serious note, Dorian (although a "dashing rogue" and not a KISA .......) really reaffirmed by stupidly optimistic faith in society.  He was very well received by most players.  In fact, most of my Christmas dinner was spent listening to my brother gush about how much he loved Dorian and his romance arc and his companion quest and his banter and his clothes and his moustache and his ass.  My straight brother.  Dorian just goes to prove that well-written and engaging gay characters don't always need to play second fiddle because anyone can appreciate them.

I'm so pleasantly surprised that this thread took this particular turn tonight.  I was prepared to pull my own Cersei-esque eye-roll as I shut my laptop.  But now?  couldn't be happier.

here here, been a rough week and spring break can't come soon enough

My dog tore a ligament in her shoulder while being boarded, and I spent 1/2 the day at the vet hospital.  We've been going to this boarding house/vet for years, but the vet wasn't available. We ended up at one of the local animal hospitals that are really good, which helped.  She'll be okay, but it was heartbreaking to see her limping so bad.  She's 11 years old, so I get worried about her sometimes.  She's on meds and has to start physical therapy this week.   

 

You guys have put some of the first smiles on my face in hours.  My husband has the night off, so after he naps I'll get the hugs I need too.  Honestly, thank you all very much.
