Just another few I put together:
And, not a poster, but I put this image together a little while ago, and I've just got it put onto a mug.

Not enough likes for you? How dare you?!
The day has arrived!
Hours from now, the buzz will be about the lucky winners of the poster contest! I wish to congradulate the grand prize winner and the 4 runners-up! In addition, everyone that submitted art work should be proud of the job they did! Well done (as I have said before.) ![]()
That being said, and at the risk of possibly coming across as a "sore loser", I certainly feel compelled to at least express this, perhaps others felt the same or I am all alone in this but...
If the rules of the contest and criteria for judging were truly supposed to be based off "Creative Design" and "Quality of Submission", I simply cannot say I was entirely pleased with the over all finalists submissions, simply because there were quite a few too many that were nothing more than blatant rip offs of obvious designs from recognizable movies. Now as this may merely be my own point of view, but I fail to see any "creative" element or "quality" element when it was obvious the only thing that differed was replacing characters in the poster with Dragon Age: Inqusition characters, while the entire poster composition remained exactly the same as the source. Sure it may take a measure of technical use of whatever art program was used (i.e. photoshop, paint, etc.) but that is not a measure of creativity and certainly not quality. In fact, in many other instances that is commonly refered to plagiarism. Even going simply on the entries that were posted in this thread alone, the finalists pool truly should have reflected the understanding of the critieria, and a true spirit of creativity, either by using the images provided or those who created their own original art work. As I stated in the beginning, I can only convey that I am not disappointed that mine was not selected, but I am disappointed that there were many, many pieces of truly creative works displayed here that should have been considered in favor over those that were, for lack of any better description, nothing more than lazy rip offs. (To be quite honest, if that offends someone because they did exactly that, well, too bad. It doesn't change the truth of the statement.)
It certainly did not help that the email fiasco occured either, possibly making one wonder just how many entries possibly never even made it to judging at all. Still, in the end, I am certainly not taking away from anyone's effort and the sincerity of congrads to the winner(s) is genuine. But, yes it was slightly disappointing to see the number of entries that were simply near carbon copies from other recognizable posters.
So with that, in closing, for those that do win, you earned it! and enjoy your Inqusitiors Edition!
Cheers!
Congratulations to the Winners!! ![]()
Congrats to the winners, these things are always so tough to judge always good work by almost all who enter these things.
I always marvel at everyone's talent.

Great event, great job, great prices!

No one will probably read this. And it is absurd, certainly, to respond now – almost a year after this thread was created. However, I felt the need to finish this thread by thanking Bioware for an absolutely mesmerizing gaming (and Solas romancing) experience – and everyone who took the time to vote. I was one of the winners. However, I couldn’t find the strength to collect my prize. My beloved grandmother died about the same time the package arrived at the post office, and my entire focus was by then turned towards this loss and towards the grief and the healing process of my family. Later on, Inquisition and the appreciative comments of people who liked my pic here on the forum helped me reconnect with the things I find joyful in life - like art and storytelling and kindness! You guys and DA Inquisition will forever be a part of my journey back towards happiness. Thank you!

I'm kind of amazed that someone actually took note of my note. Thank you Shaftell for your sweet reply :-)
Glad to see that you are feeling better
. My grandmother passed away last year too. She died one month before the release so I really sympathize. I hope you continue doing art.
