I hope devs watching this thread. I too had to send my poster twice due to some mistakes.

Yes, it would be great to get an answer to this, but perhaps people resubmitting their posters several times is something they wish to avoid? I can just imagine wich bother it would be for them to get some submissions several times with minor changes or people perhaps changing ideas entirely. They probably get tons of submissions even without relicas. So I can understand a rule that prevents that even though I personally would have liked more that it was the last submission that counted and not the first one(s). ![]()

I have a problem with which i would need some help, please.
I am trying to manipulate the Logo picture, basically cut out the "Dragon Age" part so that i have just the "Inquisition" part, but is just isn't working.
Either the picture doesn't react to my cut and delete actions at all or the complete picture get cut or deleted. It worked perfectly fine with the Backgrounds and the characters.
Anyway know what i can do to fix that? I am working with Gimp btw.

You should put the title image on a separate layer, then lock the other layers so when you edit the logo, it won't affect anything else. Then select and delete as normal. ![]()

I think they did it to prevent people from sending 10+ different poster ideas of varying quality. I remember having a similar experience working for a literary journal. One person submitted 20+ crappy poems we had to read through and reject one by one.
But I gave it a shot anyway and sent them an email with the revised piece, basically explaining that the first one was a mistake and to disregard it and such... I'm hoping that they'll still take my submission. They don't seem to be unreasonable people.

Not to be "that guy," but is the reward solely for the PC Version, or is a pick-as-you-will sort of thing?

Those lessons..., Was it a compound or recurve bow?. It's "interesting" how you can get the arm after a few hits by the string (bloody pinkish scratches)
.
I was the champion with recurve bow of my town, loooong time ago.., and I miss it
Lessons were all with compound bows. 20-lb draw to start. Have never held (much less shot) a recurve, but they certainly look more elegant than "modern" bows, even if they're less efficient!

I am upset because Québec is excluded from this contest... This said, I love what I see, there is a lot of great artists around this forum!

Eh, I think it's a reasonable question! I've looked again at the rules and all it says is "Inquisitor Edition" and the picture appears to display the PC version. However, I would assume if you win a prize, when they contact you, they'd ask you what copy you wanted. Mind I don't work for Bioware or EA, so don't take my word for an official answer.

The signed poster is probably the most appealing item on the list. I mean, YOUR poster signed by the dev team, that's just awesome. And something you can't get elsewhere.

One of a kind awesomeness. You could sell it for big bucks.
Edit: I hope I win...

I would have no intention of selling it.... Its just far too awesome to sell... If I win, I may cuddle with it at night....

And risk crumpling it! No... no, it must go on a pedestal, surrounded by candles and worshiped, like a satanic ritual.

But it would make me feel closer to the dev's... Oh how I long to be in the same room as them all... But yeah, I'd buy a luxurious frame of pure gold encrusted with diamonds and hang on the wall. Then I'd set up the satanic altar....

Honestly, I'd be ecstatic if even if I just won a runner-up prize; I'd like to have an Inquisitor's copy. Couldn't justify the cost of one when preordering but I'm not going to turn down the chance to win a free one. ;P Still, the t-shirt and poster are pretty neat, too.

Meh, I'd be happy just to get into voting. I wonder how many subisions will move on that far, more than 5 obviously, maybe 20?
It's times like this I wish I did "the facebooks" and had a following of friends and family to spam me courtesy votes... ![]()

5 get selected for the final voting phase, so whoever gets picked as finalists wins an Inquisitor Edition, but the voting will determine the grand prize winner. ![]()

I assume they have people looking at the submissions as they come in, and shortlisting the potential candidates. Then the official team selects their five and the public determines the grand prize winner.

That would make more sense.
I suppose I should read rules and contracts I sign in on more carefully. Still, it'd be nice to have a honorable mention section.

That's what it says in the rules. I hope I get to be one of those finalists but then, there are definitely going to be more submissions than the ones that have been shown on here in this thread so I highly doubt it.

There must be hundreds if not thousands of entries by the time submissions closes. I feel sorry for whoever has to go through them all. Their eyes are gonna hurt afterwards.
